Hey guys, just wanted to post that I updated this to include a dark mode finally Classic UI v1.2 Added dark mode Download in Original Post.
It's still there. You need to change the theme in the Classic Menu app now. When you add the app it should show the button up in the top-right corner of the game. Once you've switched it to dark mode, you can either close the menu or click the "Remove Sidebar" to remove it.

Which apps? There's no reason they should be moving on their own. The "Classic Menu" app should not be movable. It is meant to only stay in the right side of your screen.
