It's just... when I connect the two trucks and then try to steer, but they both steer at the sam time, so i can't steer and I get stuck. The only way to make this work is to turn on the chase AI. But this is messed up when you are transporting vehicles. :-/
Thanks for the reply. On frame would be safer place for a tank for crawlers and you get extra ground clearance, at the cost of higher center of gravity. There should be separate volume sliders for step fuel tanks in tuning options. Having only step tank(s), you have endless fuel even after rupturing or removing it/them with node grabber. Volume sliders works normally. Having step and normal tanks, then normal tanks overrides volume sliders and you lose all the fuel if normal tanks are broken.
Actually, the frame shows up after clearing cache. The tires and everything work too for me. Uninstall the previous mods, and install the experimental files, clear cache, if the textures don't work try it without any other mods. It works as intended. The small problem still exists where the front fascia will spawn as white the first time, until you spawn it in again, other than that, no bugs so far ;D
Mr Mod Author. I found a PDF of the C500 Steelhood and more. You might be able to use this in making this mod. https://www.trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth/c500_2_steelhood/c500_2_steelhood_k1.pdf https://www.trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth/c500_2/c500_2_k177.pdf
No problem. If you need more, like info on the other versions like the C509 and C510 Road Trains, I can also provide brochures for those from KW Australia.
I just wanted to reply back saying thanks and i can't wait for the offroad wentward to come, just take all the time you need, i'd be glad to use it once its uploaded...
Here's the others. US KW C500s: https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth/c500_2/c500_2_k176.pdf https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth/c500_2/c500_2_k1.pdf AU KW C500 Series: C500: https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth_australia/c500/c500_k222.pdf C500T: https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth_australia/c500/c500_k1.pdf (Has all of its specifications in Pages 3 and 4) C501T: https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth_australia/c501_c508/c501_c508_k1.pdf (Has all of its specifications in Pages 2,3 and 4) C508 and C510 : https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth_australia/c501_c508/c501_c508_k220.pdf (Has some specifications about Wheelbase length in pages 4 and 5) And its most modern version the C509: https://trucksplanet.com/photo/kenworth_australia/c501_c508/c501_c508_k221.pdf (Has all of this specifications in Page 4) Seems that the Aussies really wanted Road Train Companies to know the trucks full fledged specifications as the US ones were really lacking.
It is. The legendary outback trucker Steve Grahame actually drives a Kenworth C509 BRUTE. A special version meant for more extreme situations.
