Hello every one me and @P_enta is making a lore friendly Ford fusion called the Gavril Majoron, give @P_enta most of the credits for helping me learn blender and making the model!! here is a pic: the front is now almost done
The model looks SUPER messy and the topology is a complete wreck no offense. If you take a look at the official cars in blender, notice how clean the lines are and how everything flows. Have a look at this and it will help you.
I have a 2017 fusion titanium with an HQ interior, but you might need to reduce poly. and i did not create the model so it would have to be renamed? unless i am mistaken edit: it is from Hum3D
Hum3d over-details stuff and makes stuff incredibly high poly. Sometimes proportions can be off. It would probably be better to continue to improve the already made model rather than giving up and replacing it.
Ehh, I don't think so. It's not too good in some places, but other than that, the mesh doesn't look too bad. He could cut down on the tris & add some more geometry in places like the rear pillar then it would be fine
i'm not trying to pick on you, but you shouldn't criticise other people's work when yours look like this: don't tell others their work is a complete wreck, and don't offer any help (like you did in the Jeep Wrangler thread) until you improve your own work first.
Well i attached a video that will hopefully help him with his troubles. Ive said in the past that my method of modeling is laying out a rough model, and then going back and refining. Idk if ive said that on the forums but ive said it a lot in Discord servers. I have the skills to produce a quality product anyway, thanks.
Guys please stop fighting, oh and i cleaned up the model a BIT you probs wont notice it but its a little better
wasn't trying to start a fight, just wanted to mention something. I'm at a very early stage of modelling myself anyway. your model's looking pretty nice, looking forward to seeing where you take this
I can see improvement! See these 27 kajillion points under the trunk? Since its a straight piece, i would merge those together to keep down on tris. Same rule follows. Only have super dense topology where there are curves, the rest keep nice and clean.
alright, but idk if it will be released because i need lots of help and i have around 2 weeks of experience. if every thing goes well tho it will be released --- Post updated --- ok, thanks for the tip --- Post updated --- ok so i took your advice and after a hour of panful dissolving and merging this is the result
currently walking @XTREMEO34 through the modeling process and answering his questions while making him a great lore-friendly model! I'm teaching him the skills he will need to use to make a great mod!
Will we also get a ford branded version, since you're making the model, and therefore there will be no copyright problems?
