Thank you! Not trouble at all, what I call trouble is how Ocean Drive used to look The map is looking better than ever, thanks to all the reports, and you made a lot, so I'm thankful for that, will have a look at that issue too. No problem Will check that issue, thanks!
Playing this map in BeamNG.drive is such a nostalgia. Thank you for porting this map. Now, only remains is GTA:SA map. My favorite Oceanic road.
Sorry in advance if this is already known, but I just downloaded the newest version of the map and loaded it up and the minimap looks like this: It seems as though the background image should be shifted or something, as it's way west of where it should be so as to align with the roads and stuff. Hopefully this isn't just a me issue - I cleared my cache beforehand, too. If it is on my end, can somebody please let me know how to fix the issue, if possible? Thank you all!
Thank you! It is definitely an issue on the map, but not too sure how to deal with it, I made sure everything aligns up in the car satnav, which it does, but for some reason the map is indeed out of placement in the nav app: Will try to figure something out, but help would be welcome on this one...
Ok...I think I'm crazy at this point, but I might go ahead with this...this is the start, literally, with the Ocean View. If the performance is stable and I don't go straight up insane, a future release might look really nice at night!
I am indeed crazy it seems, since not only lights have to be added, if nothing changes I have to add every single traffic light, bench and most light posts all over the city, since they were not naturally imported into the game... ...still, a taste of things to come, this intersection is final! Lights, benches, and street lights, all that remains for me is to have GTA VC in one screen, and Blender in the other, and start copy/pasting like a maniac
OK, I have been hard at work with the next major release, intended to be so big, it will end the Beta phase all together. Apart from maaaaany bugfixes (will detail in the changelog when the time comes) the major features are all missing props back, and night lighting. The thing is, night lighting will still take a while, since every and each lamp post has to be manually lit, and there are hunreds of the damn things here...so the plan is to release 2.0 as is right now, so people can enjoy a mostly bug-free map (mostly...help finding further bugs is still more than welcome) and of course, having all the props and a taste of the night lighting. How a couple of places look right now with all props back: And the current status of night lighting, mostly Ocean Drive all the way to Washington Mall, but without the color neons and some main lights still out: And the end of the plan would be release 2.1 with ALL the lights in place, days after the main release. Of course this is a perfect chance to ask for feedback about the lights, they are quite a lot and at least to me, performance is not an issue, but if it becomes one, I might release a 'lite' version without them, I'll see depending on the case. Anyway, you can now download 2.0 in the main post, hope you like the improvements
Here's a small idea: remove one of the windows from this office, so we can fully recreate the stunt sequence from G-Spotlight: And in case you're wondering, I tried it with the Crawler Hopper with an upgraded Stage 2 engine. I managed to complete it fully (except for the office jump, of course), but I had to reset after every jump for obvious reasons. Some jups can eat your tires tho, and one of the staircases makes the hopper do backflips.
Awesome mod I really like it it gives me nostalgia when I used to play it on my IPhone yes I played it on mobile and you still can lol and I would love to see a GTA San Andres if it is possible.
Thank you! That was the plan, but I see the collisions were still in place..will be fixed Nice pics BTW!
Hi, I have an other idea to improve the stuntaibility of this great map. What's about lowering the curb here: This has killed a lot of my cars by attempting to jump that ramp. And I have a few graphic laggs with buildings but I don't know if my low graphic settings are causing this: The first one is at an armory shop with a lot of America Flags, but I'm not familiar with the map yet and it is flickering so much that could not look longer at it. The second one is happening at a few buildings but only under certain view angles. But it is a great map so far and I love cruising around and exploring it.
