How can I add the ETK Auto Stop to other BeamNG vehicles?

Hello everyone! There is a mod - ETK Auto Stop - which adds ESS (Engine Stop-Start) to the ETK 800 Series and K Series. My grandpa's 2019 Jeep Cherokee has ESS, so I am familiar with it and how it works. ESS is a system that will shut off your car at a stop light, for example. If I come up to a stop light, hold my foot on the brake, and certain requirements are met, then the system will shut off the engine in an attempt to save fuel.

It was said that the ETK Auto Stop can be added to other vehicles in the game. Does anyone know how to do that? If so, I would like to see it on the newer cars in the game. (Sunburst, SBR4, Tograc, and Vivace). Thank you!

 

Copy the vanilla ECU from the Sunburst/Vivace/idk, add @Arcanox's code to it, done.

Or in theory it should, I haven't done JBeam coding in forever.

The BeamNG root folder should have zips of the vanilla vehicles.

I seem to be having some trouble. Where do I go once I get into the BeamNG folder?

Okay so what do I do when I get there? Sorry i haven’t modded the game or anything so I don’t know.
