Fart joke thing was cause of your god awful analogy of shotacon and rolling coal being comparable. Either way mods still went above and beyond in this instance and you are all still treating them like they did nothing but antagonise the situation which is false.
Tbh, I think that was a joke, or an opinion/exaggeration. I could be wrong though. Uh, @Re:Z_IA's opinion matters here. After all, she created the thread. She's saying there's a lack of communication and I think she makes a good point. I'm not saying your opinion doesn't matter, but I agree with her and Srockzz on this stuff. It was a joke Srockzz made, I think. Tbh, I believe the staff had good intentions, but I kinda think deleting a bunch of threads was a bad idea.
Things are getting circular here, and we're just pointlessly arguing about thing beaten to death 3 pages back. My apologies for continuing it myself. IMO it's a good time to lock this, forget about it and move forward. Can we all agree a lock or whatever would be good for us all?
Sorry, but I kinda want this thread to stay open for awhile. I'd be okay with the devs locking it if it gets worse, but I think this thread is still good enough to be open. That's just my opinion.
Thats fine, I just don't get what more one could want in terms of information or reasoning for a ban or warning. A message saying "The ban/warning happened for x y or z" is about as clear as it needs to be and its the same as what everyone else gets in terms of communication.
I do think the devs should've explained why they banned Alieu. I know the ToS says the devs don't have to justify their actions and they don't, but I think Srockzz makes some points about this situation. That said, I agree with what you have to say.
Odd to see something like this this getting an Agree from one of the mods. I'm dead certain a similarly worded post regarding a staff member would immediately be taken down, with the member posting it receiving a ban (@SHΛW anyone?)
I am sure alieu got a reason for their ban as did everyone else like is proper procedure. Anymore than that and people would cry the devs are naming and shaming people criticising the game.
I know right, I guess that's just how awesome he is. Definitely one of the best posts you ever made. This is really funny. To be fair, Alieu was criticizing the devs, but I don't think he deserved the ban. He gave valid criticism to users (just like Srockzz and @ThatCarGuyDownTheStreet did).
Not sure what you wouldn't agree with on that, the whole ordeal mostly boils down to making light of child hentai for the purpose of trying to get their friends unbanned. You're probably right about the staff member part because they wouldn't have uploaded something that warrants a response like that in the first place.
I'm seeing a concerning amount of polarisation in this thread, as it turns from "maybe the mods could communicate more" to an argument about child hentai(?!) and fart jokes...
Srockzz (aka the user I talk about a lot) believes they deserved the ban, but yeah. That statement was amusing. Yeah, I know. 2 users said there's already enough communication, but Re:Z_IA is saying there isn't enough communication between users and staff.
Double standards much? And yes, I admit my involvement in this whole situation. Let me explain myself. I found a dakimakura mod for SLRR in late 2018, converted it to BeamNG.drive, and sent it Lamzumi's way. Some stuff happened along the way, the NSFW parts somehow ended up on the repo, and Lamzumi gets permabanned, and now we have to talk about this. Sorry about that, I guess.
Hes saying "ew" in reference to the "lewd skins" you mention, not sure what context you are seeing in it tbh.
