    I have had this audio issue, if anyone has had similar and found a solution please let me know.
    Support ID for devs: 76261

    My specs are;
    Intel i9 9940x
    32gb ram
    GTX 1070 ti
    SoundblasterX AE-5
    Windows 7 Ultimate + Windows 10 Pro

    This is a clean install with no mods, and all my drivers are up to date.

    I have tried everything I could think of to fix the issue, bios settings, windows settings, drivers, etc.
    Any additional insight or ideas would be great.
    I don't see any others reporting this issue so I don't know if it is something about my machine/software or the game itself. I have zero issues with audio besides this one game, which is my favorite game. So I am sad this makes it not possible for me to play as I like as this issue drives me crazy.
    Also for more details, it happens more/worse with more traffic cars, higher car speed, and worse in views like interior view and hood view. Happens with most cars I have tested, excluding the gavril v8s and the barstow/moonhawk/bluebuck/burnside v8 engine sounds. I have not tested every car/engine combination. It still happens with just one lone car and no traffic, just harder to notice depending on the car.

    I've reported a lighter version of this issue here a little while ago.

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the issue. These were the steps I´ve taken: Open BeamNG.drive -> Play -> Freeroam -> West Coast, USA -> Highway -> Load default Cherrier FCV(FCV Vivace S 410Q Arsenic (DTC)) -> Open radial menu -> Spawn traffic (normal) -> Accelerate in cabin view.

    Can you confirm that you are able to reproduce the issue following above steps? If you could record another video which starts by opening the game, I think that would be very helpful for us, so that we know exactly what to do for reproduction.

    Also, do you experience similar issues with other games/media? Or does it happen only with BeamNG.drive.

    All the best,
    Sebastian

    Here you go:

    Video starts just after starting the game from steam. The only thing thing that really differs for me was using the traffic app instead of the radial menu.
    Also I found the issue in hood view does not show up in the recording for whatever reason, but on my end sounded like the engine was misfiring/stuttering.
    It is ultimately the same issue either way.
    I am not surprised you could not recreate the issue, it does not seem very common but certain systems are affected, like mine for whatever reason.
    I will try to recreate it with the radial menu and see if that makes any difference.
    OBS seems to add a lot of strange reverb or something because my sound does not sound like it does in the videos and the glitches are sharper and more pronounced outside of the video.

    I do not experience any other issues with any other game, video, music, etc. The issue also happens in both windows 7 and 10.

    Thank you for your time.

    Thank you for your input. I am glad to know I am not the only one with this issue. ;_;

    Okay I have fixed the OBS reverb nonsense. Here is a better video where you should be able to hear the audio stuttering in hood view and I also showed some other cars with the same issue, with the SBR being about as bad as the vivace.

    Yes I feel the same about it, now without your extra reverb, the sound disturbance is just the same as in my case, I get it to hear the most clearly on loud and 'bassy' engine sounds. It occurs only after (not in) 0.18.4 cause I'm just using 0.19.0 still.

    TDK was able to reproduce it.

    Thank you for the videos. So two things are happening here:

    1) In the first two videos, there is a very strong phasing-effect. That´s what you described as "a lot of strange reverb or something because my sound does not sound like it does in the videos and the glitches are sharper and more pronounced outside of the video". When I understood you correctly, this was a result of a wrong setup in OBS and could be fixed.

    2) The momentary glitches and hick-ups of the engine sound in the last video is a known issue. This I can indeed reproduce. The problem has already been reported here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/audio-feedback-thread.44084/page-21#post-1151011

    A fix for this is on our to-do-list and will hopefully get shipped with the next release.

    All the best,
    Sebastian
