I have decided to buy a computer for beamng video content creation. But i have a super tight budget (350$).

Now that i've stumbled upon the question that should I invest in a fast 16gb ram or a better graphic card for the purpose, i am really confused and trying to seek help from anyone who has the knowledge.

GPU. I guess 350$ is too low budget.

a good graphics card is worth the investment. $350 is plenty for that

Thats all I have bro, can't do anything about it. Earlier I had around 700$ but due to financial problems i am now left only with 350$

So youre saying i should pair a good graphics card with 8gb of ram instead of a pairing integrated graphics with 16gb of ram?

So your debating on 8gb of memory with better gpu or 16gb of memory with lesser gpu?

what type of gpus are we talking? Likely the gpu is worth taking over 16gb of memory but hope you have extra slots for more memory on your motherboard so you can upgrade it in the future. 16gb of memory would be nice for bigger projects and/or having more programs open at once.

Exactly, By a good gpu i mean the rx 590 or a gtx 1070. Plus i need a computer mostly for the content creation. I need to earn money then i can hope to upgrade my pc. I heard that beamng uses a lot of ram so maybe i think more RAM = more FPS. Correct me if i am wrong.

The rx 590 or a gtx 1070 are good gpus... and would be more important for FPS then memory if we are talking 8gb compared to 16gb. Running beamng on 8gb of memory should be fine, I ran beamng on 8gb without issues 3-4 years ago.

Yeah but i have more of an economic point of view. Which would be more economic yet playable - 8gb RAM & Good GPU or 16gb (fast) RAM & Integrated graphics

Avoid integrated graphics if you can afford to. If you can get a 1070 or 1060, those are very good cards. Games like GPUs more than ram, but video editing software can eat ram as well. Unless you’re doing super-heavy-duty-editing-a-massive-movie work, the GPU is going to serve you much better than an extra 8gb of ram will. If you have $350 to split between a GPU and RAM (which is a very healthy budget) it would be better spent on a GPU. If you have $350 for the whole build, it’s probably best to buy a used desktop and throw a GTX 1050 or 750ti into it. My computer with a GTX 1060 and 8GB of ram is plenty.

That's what i wanted ! Actually i was gonna buy a used good gpu and then pair it with other new parts. Now that I've got it, i will buy an intel processor, other compatible budget parts, 8gb of RAM, And a used good gpu. I will let yall know if it worked within 1-2 months (hoping the market opens amidst the pandemic) i had fun and had a great experience sharing information. Thanks

350 is too little money, id wait if i have more... also the shitty beamng crash video market is pretty saturated by now... either you have somthing differnt in mind or give up on this idea

Well since you took the step I'll take another, $350 isn't going to get you any kind of enjoyable experience. Your going to play BeamNG on low settings with 1 car and maybe just maybe get 60fps. Considering all the maxed out high fps content with 50+ cars I'd say esesesel is right, good luck... Save up for something good with some power... You don't want to half it on a gaming build trust me...

For about that money you could get a 1650, very strong GPU.
