The Ford is a slightly older car, with actual wood panels. Mid-to-late 50s wagons used veneer applied on metal.
Indeed, wooden structures are unheard of (the crate doesn't deform) and it may be a bad idea to try it right off the bat. A livery or sticker? I have yet to decide.
why, when, were, what. Beam's UI is messy with 20 cars, why would you want even more clutter i agree with @MrAnnoyingDude and @CaptainZoll, Ford was the last maker to offer a true woody and that was in 1951. Many wagons still had wood trim pieces on the side, but they weren't syructural. So you could make it either a sticker or separated geometries in the car with wood texture on top
Small update (school resuming soon) I made a Smoky Nagata V12 Supra config with a custom livery, spoiler, 6MT 'box and Automation V12 ft. huge twin turbo You may have noticed, but the hood can be opened with a keybind now! So can everything else. Here's what the IRL car looks like. It achieved 222 MPH on the Nardo Ring in Italy with a Toyota Century V12. It also sounds like heaven in an engine bay!
