I am aware i need to clean it up. This is just a rough model. I am going back and I'm gonna remodel the mesh with Catmull-Clark subdivision. Basically, my workflow is: Make a detailed rough body, then go back and trace over it with catmull clark.
Not sure downloading a model off the internet, and using a UV that's given to you in the file is considered development. But if this happens and it's done right, good luck and I look forward to it.
The model was taken from this great mod with permissions, same with the UVs. and i dont think they are forza originated. http://vstanced.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=13422
Now separately but related to the mod with the parts and pieces deriving from so many games, publishers and developers there is no way I can see(its possible just highly unlikely imho) that this person(original author Redcar) or yourself have permissions for everything used so I would advise against using it.(would also personally advise against seeking other modders from different games to get models as their is just too much bs on the internet to allow you to trace it back properly to a source)
Well i dont think you need permission from Turn10 or CSR 2 to release something on the forums, and S-tuner and Juiced are way to "abandoned" (metaphorically speaking) to get permissions. Once again, when ill release and one of the Devs of the original game's model is unhappy, ill take it down, easy as that...
Legally speaking you need permission to use any model regardless of where you publish it. Its just rare for companies to put the effort into sending private investigators after people, but some game companies have done it in the past.
true, but he can still take the model with the original creators permission, unless they arent on the forums anymore
