Last night I tried for literally an hour trying to pack a mod that I made. I tried every which way to get it packed correctly but no matter how I packed it, it just would not s\how up in-game. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    it should be \mods\Gavril D-Series Heavy Duty.zip\vehicles\common\pickup\pickup_engine_v8_heavy_dutyy.jbeam,

    not \mods\Gavril D-Series Heavy Duty.zip\Gavril D-Series Heavy Duty\vehicles\common\pickup\pickup_engine_v8_heavy_dutyy.jbeam

I tried doing a sound mod to get the V6_ENG_INT working but I do everything right but it doesn't work
C:\Users\admin\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\More Engine and Exhaust Sounds.zip\art\sound\blends is the path to it and below is my blend file. I am using the default V6 sounds in the game from 0.10

there is supposed to be a period between the engine and sfx. I don't know why there is not one in the file below

maybe a stupid fix, but try renaming the file to not have a period in it. periods indicate file extensions, and it might be confusing the game and/or windows

maybe because v6_eng_int is just the preexisting v6 sound but for the INTerior?

I tried the same thing with V6/V6_EXH_NO_MUFF_OK 2 but I still didn't get any sound either. I don't understand why it's not working. I'm doing everything correct.. I think. I even changed the sound in the file to art\sound\engine\V8_2 to see if it would do anything but I still got now sound even after packing it and putting it in my mods folder

those are just the subset of the sound, for interior cam and broken off mufflers

I know that. I downloaded Bomboy4"s engine pack and in that mod he got them working somehow, And I compared the folder and file structure but it looked pretty much the same. But why does his work but i can't get mine to work?

I might be wrong here but I notice 2 things :
first, you are right, there goes a dot in between engine and sfx
second, I didn't see a blend being called V6_engine.sfxBlend2D, at least not in 0.18.4 files which are the most recent that I have unpacked.

I see that once the word 'engine' is involved there is only to find 'V6_2_engine.sfxBlend2D'. The V6 not 2, so just V6 seems to be called V6.sfxBlend2D.

Maybe these remarks might bring new thoughts ?

I Created the V6_engine blend file. And the V6_2 and V6_3 blend files I was referring to are part of Bomboy4"s Engine Pack. I made mention of those because he got those other two V6 sounds to work some how. (6_EXH_NOMUFF and V6_EXH_NOMUFF 2)

It looks as we've met before in same circumstances :)

You are after this v6 int sounds for quite a while now isn't it ? I just went and check this out in 0.15.0.3 again and I can say they are NOT working. I switched naming from V6_EXHAUST_MUFF_OK (or something) to V6_INT and all engine sound goes dead. In the first place we don't even know if the V6_INT sounds have the same naming like flac and their respective rpm's. Then we don't know if they even are flac's at all and then we don't know if there even are files in the folder at all. The folder might just have been left there (empty) as a reminder to the devs or the files may have another extension (ogg? wave?)

I'm afraid you're going to have to talk to TDK for an explanation on the V6_INT folder.
