Where did "agree" and "informative" ratings go?

I always used "agree" and "informative" in the way they were meant to be used, if they are both definitely removed I don't really see the interest of keeping "like" button too... as he will be used to say something different from what we think and that will just create more confusion (likes being used to say agree for example)

 

it can replace informative, but it cant replace agree. Agree was actually useful.

And now we have to type: I agree! Actually to me I don´t care about informative but at least we can have the Agree button. But right now I am happy that we just have the Like button.

 

Imma toss in my worthless two cents about the informative rating
I think we all know that it's just passive agressive "f*ck you" lately
Don't like someone? Informative
Wanna harass someone? Informative
Think someone's stuff is crap? Well that's quite informative
Just want to annoy someone after losing an argument (you know who you are)? Well sir, an informative rating coming right up
With how it's been used, I think it was wise to put it out of it's misery

 

I agree that we should keep agrees.

Isn't that misuse of the report button if its only someone complaining about ratings?

ok, im going to give my opinion here:
informative was abused. it fell out of proper use, and was since the only way to express dissatisfaction, but sure, it got axed, fair enough.
now agree is a different story. it wasnt really abused. now we see "i agree" posts popping up here, but soon, that will happen in normal threads too. not to spam, but to give an opinion. agree was in my opinion the most useful of the 3, it gives you the ability to share your opinion without a post, and without spam. it also shows what people agreed with, and what people didnt. now threads will be cluttered by posts saying "i agree" because there isnt a button anymore. as for internet points, i dont think thats what matters here. if anything, like is the forum points here, but agree was a useful tool to agree with something without cluttering a thread. informative can stay dead if needed, but please bring back agree, as i think it serves a purpose, and prevents spam.

 

or we could have a simple agree reaction otherwise might aswell remove all reactions.

 

But again, do you as a moderator want to see threads full of "i agree" responses on the forum?

agree. how we need to say agree if its deleted? writing agree every time will cause more spam
