Question: Does BeamNG have support for a clutch pedal on a steering wheel?

I was thinking about getting this wheel because it has a clutch pedal, which I want. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B016LI8SCG/ref=twister_B07V8KVK74?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
However, I turned on the UI app that shows the amount of pressure being put on the gas, brake, etc. (I have a controller) and I noticed on Automatic cars the clutch is always at 100, and on Manual cars, the clutch goes up by itself. So, is there a point in getting pedals with a clutch, or should I just get one without a clutch pedal?

My friend who plays beamng has a clutch that works perfectly. Try to make shure that that the clutch binding matches the actual input. Also make shure that beamng isn't in arcade gearbox mode. Finally, make shure all the wires leading onto the computer are plugged in correctly. I dont know if this was helpful because I'm not very good at 'this kind of thing'.

I have that very same wheel, and it works fine - clutch pedal and all.
Also sounds like you have clutch assist on? That's probably why, even in a manual, the clutch operates itself.

Something to note; the shifter that comes with it is a bit cheap, but it does the job just fine - it tends to skip gears if you aren't careful.

As mentioned by others, that's the behavior of clutch assist and/or arcade automatic. Just turn auto clutch off and transmission to realistic.

As for your wheel selection, the link goes to a g920. Generally speaking, the g29 is considered the better alternative. They are the same wheel (One is for PC/PS, the other for PC/XBox), but the G29 has a couple more buttons for whatever reason (good to bind to the starter and zoom in/out).

I don't known if you researched the competing offers from Thrustmaster, but you should. I love my G29, but some prefer Thrustmasters offerings in the price bracket.

Okay. Does the RPM bar work on your G29?

The shift light? It's disabled on G29/G920 by the BeamNG devs. Doesn't matter much since I think all but the Pigeon/T-Series/Cherrier have optional interior shift lights. Doesn't help if you're using external camera with a wheel though...
    See: https://wiki.beamng.com/Steering_wheel_setup#G27.2FG29_shifting_leds_don.27t_work

    Works on other games.

Alright. I would get that wheel, but currently on Amazon it’s 600$. :( If the price drops I’ll aim for it

I'm not sure what's up with the G29's prices... Amazon is usually the only place to get one for a reasonable price, but I guess covid-19 is messing that up...

My local microcenter has them in stock. Prices aren't as good as usual but still somewhat reasonable. So you definetly could check your local computer stores (arguably should check those stores first under any circumstances)
