    That's subjective

We own one and are getting another very soon. Those things have a cult following here in Australia

I noticed a small problem with the Miramar instrumentation : the only tachometer available has a redline at 5000 rpm and stops at 6000 rpm while the Miramar GTz (which is a factory config) has a redline at 7000 rpm.

It would be relevant to have a different tachometer for the GTz.

Vehicles like the Miramar and Etk 800 need an offcial coupe version bodystyle.

For those of you thinking that this car's a little '64 Corona-esque vehicle (as I did), this car's a lot bigger. I'm not complaining - I'm just surprised. I thought for the longest time it was this tiny sedan - turns out it's a beast. I suppose you could call it the "Roamer syndrome", comparing a smaller vehicle ('95 Explorer) to a much larger game vehicle (Roamer, which is closer to a Tahoe or Expedition in size) solely through styling.

For reference, a couple Japanese sedans that this car is most often compared to (source: Wikipedia):

    *1964-1970 Corona - 2.42m wheelbase, 4.11m long, 1.55m wide, 971kg (sedan), 1.2-1.9L OHV?/SOHC/DOHC L4s

    *1963-1973 Bellett - 2.35m wheelbase, 4.03m long, 1.5m wide, 921kg, 1.3L-1.8L OHV/SOHC/DOHC L4s, 1.8L diesel L4

    *'65-'68 Skyline (S54) - 2.59m wheelbase, 4.25m long, 1.5m wide, 1070kg, 2.0L SOHC L6

    *1968-1972 Laurel: 2.62m wheelbase, 4.31m long, 1.61m wide, 1005kg, 1.8L-2.0L OHV L4s

    '63 Ibishu Miramar: 2.54m wheelbase, 4.32m width, 1.67m wide, 1050kg, 1.6L-1.9L SOHC/DOHC L4s

I want to emphasize how wide this car is. It's almost as wide as the Covet and '88 Pessima (1.7m), and for its length, it's astoundingly thick. Most cars of its width (like the 1962 Crown and 1962 Gloria, both 1.69m wide) are at least 4.6m long. It's also got quite a short wheelbase for how long it is. I thought that it was unrealistic, but two similarly-sized vehicles of the era have similarly-short wheelbases:

    *1961-1967 Bellel: 2.53m wheelbase, 4.47m long, 1.68m wide, 1190kg, 1.5L-2.0L OHV L4s, 2.0L diesel L4s

    *1960-'61 Cedric 30: 2.53m wheelbase, 4.41m long, 1.68m wide, 1195kg, 1.5L-1.9L L4s, 2.0L diesel L4, 2.8L L6

This wasn't a common occurence (most large Japanese sedans of the era, like the 1962 Crown or the 1962 Gloria, have 2.6m+ wheelbases), but it was common enough that the Miramar doesn't need a wheelbase extension or any alteration in its dimensions.

Personally I see the Miramar most like a Nissan Bluebird 510 in terms of overal shape and proportions. Interesting to see how large the Miramar really is. A bit off topic but I was also surprised that the Piccolina is more Beetle-sized than 500-sized.

How so? Measured in Blender, the 3D model of the BIW of the Piccolina is about 3.30m long...

Weren't there width regulations in Japan that hampered the RL cars' growth widthwise?

IIRC the wheelbase is right in between these two.

Who would ever put those awful-looking rims on a classic Corona? That's sacrilege.

When I originally set out to convert the miramar into a toyota crown sized car, i was surprised by how close it already was, as I only had to lengthen it to get the dimensions the same (no widening, etc.). I didn't think much of it at the time, but now i'm seeing this, it makes a lot more sense.

    devs pls fix

I don't think many vehicles after the 90's Pessima need major remastering. Some could just do with minor content updates outside usual tweaks (80's Pessima,Bunside,Barstow, etc).

At the very least, the Bolide, Burnside, and Miramar all need major remasters. A few other cars, like the I-series, Barstow, Pessima '88, Sunburst, etc. are much better but came out before the current standard was established. The Moonhawk and, I would say, the 200BX are right on the edge between the two groups.
