The cabover got a rework I shortened the frame so it's not just a big cab. Still a little large, but not overly now.
@PresidentJukeBox, the designs you provided on Page 5 have proved very useful towards the cabover's redesign.
Apart from minor interior details and door handles, the Roadstar's mesh is pretty much done. Those aforementioned things will end up being textures for now. Later on, it may receive a revamp along with the long 4x2 and 6x4 frame. Now, I can just focus on the cabover.
Not right now. It may be started later in development, but I'm just working on the main part at the moment.
i dont want to be rude, but the model is too square, right now it looks like a cardboard box on a semi chassis
Note how the T Series has chrome that takes up the entire front end basically. The grille takes up most of the front. I think that there should be a chrome border around your grill, the "roadstar" and make the grill fill up more of the front end there. And maybe make the hood line up with the cab like the T-S?
Well, I think a portion of the credit should go to missionsystem. He helped with the textures and getting the model ingame.
@missionsystem, let me know if you are okay with this. So here's the game plan for beta releases: Once some issues are fixed (steering wheel and dials broken), a selection of beta testers will be selected for preliminary testing. Once the Roadstar passes preliminary testing, a public beta release should be ready. Don't hold missionsystem or me to this, but hopefully a public beta release should be here before the end of April.
Okay, missionsystem told me it could take around May to finish, but it'll still be released, don't worry. For now, only the Roadstar will be in the preliminary testing. Once all is figured out with the cabover, the same group will test and report any issues, and then it will be released once it passes preliminary testing.
Dude? Are we back to automation AGAIN? What year is it? --- Post updated --- The best way I think you should do to this mod is to take off the front of the T series and redesign it from there and just widen the cab.a
