Well, then for 2020 car maybe this damn annoying thing could change a little bit? For example Arsenic mode would change gearbox S mode as well?

 

What I meant is in Arsenic mode gearbox on S mode wouldn't upshift like in normal Sport mode.

Also what "Arsenic" mode actually doing?

 

Arsenic mode is just like sport mode but even more "sporty"... it grants you even more freedom (to crash and burn)

 

And even the ESC & TC are ON, it still shouldn't brake the outer wheel when understeering. The ICE version doesn't have this problem though.

The Vivace Hillclimb and Rally should have shift lights, due to refresh rate the digital tachometer is not very accurate when the RPM is rapidly changing such as racing.

The S mode IRL is something different, at low throttle the S mode upshift just like D. However the difference is at high throttle, in D mode no matter how long you floored it, it will upshift right after you lift the throttle. In S mode you have to apply low throttle for nearly ten seconds after flooring it to make it upshift earlier. In BeamNG 0.19 the delay is not long enough

 

I tried the test rig with a AWD and open diff Pessima and could not pass it. Interesting!

 

If we rip off the engine from Vivace there will be some artefacts. Also engine is really bouncy and really heavy if we try to pull it by node grabber.


Beacon lights turn into solid one after they break.


European and modern light bars don't break and still flashing even don't attached to the car.


Old light bar still flashing if only one light source is broken.


In ambulance body flashers don't emitting light like light bars and beacons. Same with every other additional flashers like in unmarked police cars.


Also like other mentioned before - gandarmerie version of Vivace have floating beacon with light source going through the roof. Also it doesn't have damaged model.

I just wonder why nearly every 4x4 has an open front diff stock? I get some lower end models dont have front lockers, but is it not somewhat rare to find an american truck / suv that doesnt have a front locker? (It is where Im from anyway) Im seeing lots of configs with just a rear LSD.


Also this is more of a suggestion, but what about an option to enable power steering by default on all configs (that should have it stock anyway)?

 

Seems to be a (strangly undocumented nor mentioned in the changelog) app that can export the mesh of a vehicle to GLTF format which can be imported in Blender and other 3D software. Cool thing is that it can export crashed cars as well. Either it got added by accident, or they forgot to include it in the changelog.

For the industrial level, it's not white curbs for me. Instead, the curbs have the "No Texture"...texture.

 

I found a bug with WCUSA.
I dont know if its been reported yet.
Ive been drifting a lot with the gravel vivace rally, and at the dockyards in the parking lot, there is one side of the entrance that the tire will clip on and it will break even if its a smooth road.
I missed the 2 first tries but you can see after those what i mean.

After 40sec in the video i was just switching sides to see if it did the same but only one of the 2 entrances has that collision bug

 

The BUG (tested in safe mode). Then drive reverse (seems any vehicle) at moderate throttle the wheels "glue" to some degree to either side. And returns to the center after stop only.

Loving the update Great work!

I found a traffic feature that was removed in the update, the traffic wont pull to the side anymore when driving emergency vehicles. (with emergency lights on). Also there seems to be no evading cars in the traffic when cruising around with a police car. (Tested in safemode)

 

The rally suspension is extremely weak on the SBR4

Can't the GLTF file export be replaced with something else? I tried importing it into Blender and all I get is traceback error. Why can't it be something like Collada?

 

Interesting. I didn't know that.

 

In the port on Small Island, there is graffiti unrealistically placed on some of the rocks in the port right behind a wall with identical graffiti.

Also, there used to be a small refinery in the middle of the map with a road leading right through it. Even though it's gone now, you can still hear the reverb when you drive through (or rev your engine in) the exact spot where the small tunnel used to be.

Cross-referenced with 0.18. Best replicated with headphones.
