Is the nos in the vivace gonna be released in another update? I looked into it for fun and the nos slot in the engines are already there its just missing a nos jbeam. I have it done already and was thinking about releasing the nos for the vivace. but if a hotfix is gonna bring it in a week or so i wonder if i should even bother to release it.
I'm not sure if this is a bug. I crashed into a tree with Vivace, gauges still working and car doesn't look like it hit a tree.
If you look the Cherrier it doesn't look like it hit a tree, it seems like something has fallen on its roof. The result should have looked like this "rollcaged" Sunburst. As you can see, gauges get deactivated in Cherrier after heavy crashes. However, it was not deactivated in the first photo despite it hit a tree.
I really hope the steering issue's gonna be addressed in the hotfix, it occurs with every vehicle and is quite annoying: This bug actually made me crash several times — I'm used to straightening the car by easing off the steering, but now it veers in opposite direction, as shown below: It's very irritating, it was really intuitive before the update and now you can't even engine brake properly. Why they had to change it is beyond me
The L-TRV marauder Charro has the post facelift fascia and does not list the transmission type. The Tograc qE does not have a capital Q, despite all the awd versions having it capitalized.
Noticed an oddity with the brake thermal debug on the bus. Seems to not update for one of the wheels. 32* vs 1056*
I'm not sure if this is an issue on my end, but when I use the thumbnail generator, it goes to a smaller borderless window size like it did before, but it doesn't come back to full screen once it's done doing it's thing. I have to go in Options>Graphics and click "apply" to go back to the full screen resolution.
Not only is the color selector barely visible, the repo is also pretty much just pure white when dark mode is enabled. It seems as if not all white text and white backgrounds get fully changed when switching from light to dark mode.
The gauges don't turn off in heavy crashes if the vehicle has the "Lightweight Interior" equipped. The vehicle you used is (probably) the rally config, which has the lightweight interior equipped
The Vivace is working OK on rollers but I also found two problems. 1. The center clutch is too much in comfort mode at low throttle, which leads to negative torque(driveline windup) 2. Traction control braking is not aggressive enough. The wheel spin upon corner exit is very noticable.
This might be your controller. My Xbox One controller causes this to happen in this game and others because the right stick gives a minute left steering input. I believe it wasn't made properly. The aggressive right turn your car made in the video could be that the spring in your controller has worn out. When you let go of the stick, it may not be returning to center; it might be overshooting and then returning to center, causing your car to veer in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately, that's not the case — my controller is a bit misaligned too, but I extended the deadzone so it doesn't affect the steering Plus, if it was at fault here, I'd have noticed it long before the update. The veering issue took place only after the update. --post updated-- I'll download pre-0.19 version from Steam and see if the bug persists
This thread has a lot of activity, and things can get buried rather easily. I advice to make a thread in the Questions section for these, should work better. Simply put a JPG (PNG works too, but other is faster on the UI) with the same name of the configuration file in Userfolder/vehicle/<vehicleName>. Ie. that folder will end up having both your configuration .pc file and the image file. They should come later on, better not release mods with those as they will end up conflicting when that happens Themes are long time unsupported, they just haven't been removed yet. Several menus were not tested and may not work if you use Dark Theme. Another issue had the same issue, and figured it was because he forgot the steering wheel USB plugged in without any power. That looks same: The FFB device is being detected, and FFB enabled, but with no actual steering wheel being powered, that happens.
