Can confirm that the ESC locks up the rear inside wheel in low-speed turns. I think it has to do with the rear torsion beam - it's really easy to tripod, so the ESC detects wheelspin and stops the wheel. It does not happen to the Tograc or Vivace S. It does happen to the models with independent rear suspension for similar reasons - if you tripod it, the wheel that goes in the air stops spinning.

Update: it usually only happens when you make it happen. Floor it up to 20 MPH, release the gas and immediately go to full lock left or right. One of the rear wheels will lift into the air, or there will be so little weight on it as to have the same effect. The ESC will stop the wheel.

Let me guess... Is the Vivace based on the 2020 Focus?

No, it's based on the International MXT

god... why do people keep doing this? To answer your question, this car is not based on one specific vehicle. It is an original design by the developers of BeamNG.drive themselves.

I mean it closely resembles the 2020 Focus. I know it is based on many other cars like Peugeot, Renault, Ford, and a little bit of Hyundai.

Since the Vivace is currently my favourite car, i thought i'd post me driving the shit out of the it on the main thread itself. Drift/ Rallying(ish) /Racing.
If i'm not allowed to do that, then just remove it. Apologies for some of the video quality. It takes forever to render in HD.

    Minor HTML related nitpicks but...
    • It's peculiar that the gear display in manual models shows the R and N permanently. The quick movement to N whenever the gear is changed is a little odd, the ETK 800 suffers from it too. And now that I think of it, how many manual transmission gear indicators show N instead of a blank, especially when on the move?
    • As the centre screen is used for the a/c display, would it be possible to still display that in levels like pure grid rather than locking to the startup/manufacturer logo? As some GPS units in the other cars show the time, perhaps some universal solution can be found; maybe show a "No map data found" warning or something.
Otherwise, very nice to see details like all the deformable/breakable plastic exterior trim pieces, the correctly proportioned rear bench seats and the correct number of window controls on the doors. The suspension flexbodies are quite good as well; jellying and part disconnection is less noticeable than older content.

I like it enough that a AWD Tograc with the petrol 2.0L has been set to default for 0.19 since it's a decent all-rounder that doesn't get snagged on every obstacle. When the ESP gets sorted, will probably switch to the electric version.

I topped out at 204mph in my Vivace which was a 460hp Arsenic which I customised myself, it did 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds

If anyone is still wondering what the "Arsenic" mode is, to me it seems like the equivalent to a Sport+ mode (or like the +R mode on a Civic Type R) as it seems to be the most aggressive mode to still have some some form of ESC/TC intervention before it goes off fully

I was questioning the same, I think it is equivalent to Sport+. I think it just relaxes the ESC even more

Devs confirmed somewhere - cant find it right now - that Arsenic mode is basically an even sportier mode.

I use an xbox controller with the automatic clutch operation, and whenever changing gear in a manual it shows up 1 very briefly in changing gear (so a 3rd-4th gear shift goes 3, 1, 4 on the screen)

Oh and the 230S has become my new default go to! (I prefer the more playful nature of the less advanced torsion beam rear suspension to the more planted independent setup)

I find similar. If you then slow down and attempt to accelerate away the ESC keeps the brakes applied. So then have to stop fully and pull away again

Vivace 110 with some tweaks could make a nice cup racer, I think, even if it would feel slow.

You could probably call it 130 Cup since it has E130 ECU now :D

I would say it screams PSA, the interior is very Peugeot.
Not to mention I don't know of any other auto manufacturer that offers the same car with petrol, diesel, and electric options.

My mods are causing stability issues with this car, but i don't know which. Would anyone happen to know which mods are incombatible with the cherrier?
