Then I'd recommend you looking at more factory brochures rather than wikipedia.
    Links: Peugeot, VW

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NzOc8IVH7SucFZbcEMbusfPpb6UBDlDe/view

My Golf VII 1.2 TSI, weighs 1154 Kg-s actually in its registration book.
I know its not a real world car, but could be closer to one.
    Lastly its Peugeot not Peugot...

The DSE system tries to brake-torque vector. That's the brake activity you're seeing.
    --- Post updated ---
Is REAL active torque vectoring (a la Honda SH-AWD) coming?

Amazing patch! the sound of the I5 engine omg! only thing I miss is a revlimiter to play with and adjustable torque for the awd. Thanks for the content

No you misunderstood me, we are making our cars as heavy as comparable real world cars.

You might want to put your car on a scale, but don't be surprised if that doesn't match your expectations. Unfortunately the real weight of a vehicle differs massively from what is written in any official document...

I would assume that those weights are based on the absolute minimum possible configuration.... you know... the one without a radio that basically nobody ever buys. Anything above that configuration will add weight. Not quite sure if that config is actually ever used outside of fuel consumption tests.

Speaking of the cars I owned:

Ford Scorpio - 1700 kg according to official papers for this particular - heavy duty configuration because initial owner was a concrete salesman that needed a lot of weight carry capacity.

Ford Focus MK 1 - Hatchback - 1200 kg with the 1,8 L petrol engine (papers)
Ford Focus MK 1 - Wagon - 1250 kg with 1,6 L petrol engine papers)
Ford Focus MK 2 - Wagon with the 1,6 L Ti-VCT petrol engine --> actually measured weight without driver = 1320 kg

Most of my friends also drive compact cars and I am not aware of any that is below 1200 kg without a driver.

In principial it would be good if cars would be ligher... there was a time where a full family vehicle weightest just slightly above 1000 kg but I dont see that time coming back for the reasons mentioned.

Should you have the opportunity to find a scale for your car, you should really test it. :)

Of course, depending on trim levels, sunroof, different seats, electrical/infotainment, and other optional extras can give higher weights up to 100 kg-s, but still given with its basic engine 1.0L turbo, having a weight close to 1.4 tons is still excessive.
My friends Focus Mk 3 estate/wagon 2.0 TDCi diesel was once scaled and weighed 1420 Kg-s compared with its offical 1388 Kg-s differnce was 32 Kg-s off.
If I have the opportunity, scaling would be interesting absolutely. :)

Yes, I was only pointing out that trim levels can vary the weight, but still a basic 1.0 turbo engine in a hatch, having a weight close to 1.4 tons is just simply excessive. I've written earlier my friend scaled his estate focus mk3 2.0 diesel and had similar weight. Also wagon cars can weigh much higher than the hatchback versions.
    Actually It's quite a good debate. :)

I'm having some trouble with getting the Vivace to load in. It says there's an error in the installed vehicle/object, and I don't know which mod I'm using is causing it.

If everyone thinks that that the Vivace 410Q Arsenic is too expensive, the Renault Megane Trophy RS is the same price (In US dollars) has less power, and is slowr.
