I'd imagine they havent yet because they're quite hard to implement, and also make them look polished. no one has made a hardtop convertible so far, afaik. but all the softtop ones that currently exist aren't polished to game standards. either the meshes clip when the roof is folded down, or in the case of the oldsfullsize, it has a cheaty cover which pops in once the roof is down. like I've said before, the ETK K was probably originally meant to have a convertible hardtop, but due to limitations, they had to convert it into a fixhead.
Reminds me of the olden days when everyone thought Mythbuster's Cadillac convertible was the coolest thing ever (and it was), but in reality it was massively janky. The turn signals were used to activate it, and from what I remember, once you put it down, it wouldn't go up all the way again. As for official convertibles, another thing that they need to figure out is how to have windows roll down. I feel there will eventually be an update to have more parts of cars move, such as wipers, windows, opening doors and trunks on vehicles with power opening doors and trunks, retractable antennas, convertible tops, etc.
I can't say I fault anyone for finding the Caddy cool. It was, after all, the first mod on the forum, and remained the highest-quality modded street car available for probably damn near two years after release... buggy roof job notwithstanding. Also, that was before custom per-vehicle inputs, if memory serves. But I agree that it hasn't aged perfectly and inadvertently shows some of the reasons why an official convertible is more difficult than it sounds.
Quick question, will the eSBR be getting the fake limited slip differential that uses the brakes? It *really* needs it, it's almost impossible to corner without spinning the inside wheel.
This probably means that the update is pretty close by (I'd estimate around 1 week) Maybe the ibishu pigeon might get a skin based on this:
Yep those devs at it again, I wonder if its the Ibishu Pigeon they are counting or the flying kind As for what was expected of this Map remaster, it was expected they wont let an old map die!
I'm completely hoping that the update will come in the next 2 weeks, but that's just my personal hopes and dreams(to be knocked down)
I'd expect the update to release this week. Likely Wednesday or Thursday (as Nadeox confirmed it wont be Friday). It still gives time to release the Vivace trailer in a couple days and create a hype for release.
Very true, also I might be a full update trailer because there is the New D-Series,the Cerrier Vivace and the extended roamer.(And possibly a long H-Series?)
this migratory bird research station opens up possibilities for a chapter in career mode. maybe delivery missions, starting with driving a van from the helipad to the main settlement, increasing in difficulty to carrying a load up to the top of the hill in a pigeon. even maybe some exploration, considering that impressive looking cave network teased in the video. also, the fact that this appears to be being released without the other small maps suggests that they will be getting much more extensive overhauls than just texture updates (like what was shown just before italy was released)
