Very good progress so far. Gonna start properly implementing all the Panelvan parts and jbeaming them. Although I may need a bit of help, as it's been a long time since I even attempted to jbeam something other than a suspension.
A while back, the blackfoot was left to die because he realized that all the proportions were wrong, and that his blueprint was useless. He said that it would never be touched by him until he had proper blueprints. Which I guess he has now.
So while it's true that this car replaces the Blackfoot, and for those reasons, it isn't a Blackfoot. It's returning as a Jeep Cherokee, being a very close replica of the real car. I can't yet say what exact methods I use because they vary a lot, but it does use a very good photoscan, and a process called photo matching, which, while letting you model from literally a photo, is very inaccurate and requires something else (the scan in this case) to help you model. I can't say I'm using no blueprints, but in truth the only ones I'm actually using are pretty good diagrams out of a service manual for the rear end of the car, because it didn't come out very well on the scan. What I can say is that this car wouldn't be happening without the situation in the world right now. Take that as you will, but if I didn't have what is basically a 12 week holiday, nobody would be getting this car. There is much more to come. But yes, the XJ is returning, and hopefully nobody is going to be disappointed. You'll see what I mean
is that... A SUBARU WAGON? (should have done 3rd gen legacy/2nd gen outback) Does it have a custom interior? If so please post pics, it looks amazing.
no custom interior yet, ive never done an interior before, but there will be one before release. ot: Now with "proper" jbeam, and more materials, and even more parts.
I just figured out how to unwrap things and select things with similar materials in blender so I can unwrap certain things quickly! hurray! It's easier than I thought
Hi guys, today i tried to import my model of the autobelly as 3D object in gridmap but ... The reflection is terrible (the roof) and some faces are missing (this is because of "split" options in blender) does someone knows a way to fix this ? thanks.
Looks like you need to flip the faces of those invisible faces. Atleast thats what its called in 3dsmax
