In my trade school, it is mostly hands on work with tests and quizzes that relate to fixing cars. There is no work that you didn't sign up for, and the schoolwork is very interesting (assuming that that trade as a whole is interesting to you). Like @appesh1 stated, do what you want to do. It is your life to live, not mine, not some random person on reddit, its yours. I hope I have been helpful with at least providing some insight/broadening your options.
Actually, that's a good point. Though, some of them may have already gone to college. Interesting. I'm assuming trades is about stuff like electrician work, plumping, car repairs, and trades in general, right? appesh1 is correct. It's my life. No one on Reddit should get to control my life. My friend was in an electrical course at a trade school, and it also didn't stray away from the course topic. There is some basic math in electrical, but that is a requirement to do any electrical repairs anyways.
Huh, interesting. Is the math in electrical work addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc?
Its Ohm's law. It isn't too tricky because I can understand it. I know my explanation is going to be terrible, but basically it uses multiplication and division to determine how Volts, Ohms, and Amps interact with each other. There are tons of videos about it on Youtube that can explain it far better than I can.
