I don't think they posted it too early, it's just that the sudden shift to the situation right now caused everyone to concentrate on the car and its status day by day more. This in turn is what makes it probably feel that the preview was posted too early.

Fair, but if you base on the sheer amount of stuff that has to be done for the next update, let alone the new car, there's a chance there has been a delay due to things not being right. Yes you can say that there has been a consistent time frame between previews and release, but it isnt always a 100% guarantee it will stay on time. There is always external factors that could cause a delay as lengthy as you mentioned. Like the rest of you, I'm eagerly waiting this car, but we just have to sit here and wait; there must be a good reason for such a long delay.

Loving the work guys - really looking forward to this one! :D

The AWD system bears a resemblance to the Haldex system of the Audi RS3. Is it designed to be similar, i.e. a FWD-based system using a viscous coupling to drive the rear axle? If so, can it only send up to 50% of drive to the rear, like Haldex IRL?

Yea, these are not using viscous couplings anymore these days though. It's a proper clutch instead that can be controlled electronically.

And since it's a clutch and not a differential it can at max lock front and rear together which equates your 50:50 split.

    Warning: Rant Incoming

Oh, for goodness sake! Please, have a bit of patience, everyone. I know it's boring to wait for something to happen under these unusual circumstances, but if this BeamNG's upcoming car, they want to get it in the game, and get in the game right so that we don't drive a car full of bugs.

So just hold off on saying "when is it going to release" already and just let the devs do their work without people being pegged at that one question. When it's ready, it's ready. Just knock it off on asking and let them do their jobs.

    Rant over. Sorry moderators!

Do you guys think a hillclimb version will come with this car? I think it could be a great way to demonstrate this new drivetrain system :)
