currently looking into getting a music streaming subscription i already had spotify but theyr audio quality is rubbish is there a good one that still isnt too expensive? Also i kinda want FLAC quality but so far i only found Amazon music HD wich is rather expensive

 

So you want the best of the best, but don't want to pay for it?...
Also even if you actually can hear a difference, spotify premium is nowhere near rubbish... most likely your connection or something else is bad.

 

Had to take my mother to the hospital in the middle of the night last night. Problem was a lot less severe than she thought it was... allegedly, but I'm still glad we went.

Have slept maybe 4-4.5 hours last night, most of that in the morning after getting back home. Still completely fried. Work called, probably wanting to know if I could come in for an extra day; I'm not even calling back. Not because of Corona, but because I still don't feel like I'm in any condition to drive or work competently right now.

 

I have spotify premium and have downloaded the music i want to play but i was only interrested if theyr is a cheaper alternative to amazon but if theyr isnt i guess i have to get it than

 

So, people (including me) have been complaining about WCA's issues for years.

So, I made this today:



Not sure if any of you can see it, but basically, I made WCA about the size of Italy and made everything larger (except the racetrack and Mojave Road). I've also added:

*A big train yard
*A second canal
*A full redwood area with a complete highway and a lot of little trails and whatnot
*A second suburb area
*A "stuff" area near Mojave Road

I can now understand why Mojave Road is so short - if I make it longer, I lose the ability to make the city larger - which stinks even more.

 

Today was so boring... Only work and sleeping during all the day.

 

I'm so sick of rural living - HughesNet has pushed me right to the goddamned edge of my patience. What an absolute garbage excuse for a service - I wish I still had my parent's dial-up connection from the mid-90's. Holy hell, what a complete joke.

As for the race it was absolute madness, we have Ian Poulter there yes THE GOLFER! and a knight of the Realm Chris Hoy there as well and a couple others including Nico "The Hulk" Hulkenberg and a few others including Jimmy "The Shed Dweller" Broadbent xD it was absolutely hilarious!

 

It is day 1 of the Coronavirus shutdown across New York State. Most businesses are closed. I have never seen anything like this before. Good thing I was prepared for this so I have hand sanitizer and enough toilet paper (not hoarded though). Here's to hoping the economy doesn't completely collapse.

What kind of speakers or headphones are you using? That makes a bigger difference than the audio format honestly. I personally use AKG studio monitor headphones to listen to music.

 

I use a Teufel Cage headset wich is really good for that but i also listen to music in my car and i played flac audio and then the same song on spotify and the spotify version sounded really tinny and like it didnt have proper bass so i dont think thats on my cars soundsystem

 

Friendly reminder that hand sanitizer must be at least 60% alcohol and still then does not do as good as a job as washing your hands, the point of washing your hands is too remove the virus from your hands not kill it.

But yeah you guys are having a hard time up in NY arent you. Down here in NC is starting to get worse. My school just extended the cancellation by like a month. Im stocked too, although toilet paper is a bit low because Karen saw a facebook post and decided to buy 400 tons of it lol

 

Yeah, here In Va they closed schools for the rest of the school year. I drive a school bus for the county I'm in so I'm basically out of work. They haven't called a mandatory "shelter in place" yet but I'm sure it's coming.I feel sorry for the kids though. I know several seniors who say they feel like they are getting cheated out of graduation.

I'm 62 and have lived through a lot of crazy stuff but this is the worst I've seen.

 

Thats the worst part about all of this, people loosing/out of a job. Sorry to hear you are one of them. We got the everything is closed so stay inside kinda thing. Even if we were to leave its not like there is anything open.

I feel bad for the seniors as well. A bunch of my fiends bought expensive dresses and suits for prom and now thats been canceled so they just have those.

 

Ooh what scale is that? I run lionel O scale, but I dont have a large layout and just a loop with a few junctions, but I have some cool tmcc engines like an Erie Pacific and a boston and Albany hudson

Hello @CrimsonCrocodile, In case you can't tell from my signature. I used to be known as GWMan, but I changed my username to Grind86. Anyways, I'm glad you're enjoying university. I don't think it's for me, but I'm glad you enjoy it.

 

A representative just visited my house from FPL (Florida Power and Lights), stating that the homeowners before me had installed a whole house surge protector and that they would start billing me an extra 10$ a month if I don't get rid of it. is this legal? I'd figure that they would have to grandfather me since it was installed before they made it a rule. But I guess not?

I'll have to contact FPL about this issue, hopefully I can sort this out soon.

 

From what I see in this article (https://www.tmcnet.com/usubmit/2011/07/29/5671247.htm), they probably will charge you if the previous owners also paid the $10 per month for the surge protection.
