I think i went a completely different way that everyone else did. Either that or im misunderstanding the competition
The only limitation are the the production decade, the body type and the budget, so I think you are good
What was the budget again? $140K? I think I'm under budget. Actually, I think I'm under in every single stat. These stats are out of 100 right? Either way, she's all finished and I can confidently say that I'm not winning. Not in the slightest. If those stats are bad, the looks sure as hell won't help. The car looks even worse in BeamNG than it does in Automation, but it actually drives really nice.
Don't worry too much about extreme stats and budget, I think the driving experience is more important. It's $140K maximum with the original body/trims but 90K if you use a different shell
Yours feel much faster and has a stiffer suspension, increasing the handling, but I just set up to offroad then lowered the height. Maybe I can still make it as good as yours
That's a good idea! I have no problem with this if everyone agrees, though I haven't done a pack before so still need some help packing all the cars together. I still didn't learn from my old Time Attack car pack. lol. It will also need a name, i'll credit everyone's entry in the resource.
You can make it as good as mine! But the off-road preset for the suspensions given by Automation is extremely bad. I am working on an off-road racer for a few weeks now and I have learned a lot with it. So, if you want, and even if my car is far from finish, I can give you some advice! 1. Don’t go with an extremely light vehicle! For me, the best weight for an off-road vehicle is around 1500kg/3300pounds 2. The fronts springs need to be harder than the rear springs. As you can see on the picture above, my front springs are set on 1.00Hz, and the rear springs are set on 0.86Hz. Like this, all the bumps of the road will be absorbed by your front axle, and the rear axle will be glued to the road 3. An off-road vehicle needs to have powerful dampers. You can look on the picture to see how I have tuned the dampers of my car. If yours rebound too much, you can increase the effectiveness of your dampers 4. You need to avoid using hard sway-bars 5. Don’t be afraid to lower the engine power! If you want, you can try my car, I have joined it with this post (@G-Farce , if you try it too, you have to know that this version is equipped with a 270hp engine instead of the one you have already try who have a 410hp engine, and that this one is not equipped with the progressives springs and dampers ) @G-Farce: It’s extremely easy to create a car pack! You just have to unzip all the cars you want to add in the pack, merge all the “vehicles” folders together, merge all the “art” folders together, and then the only thing remaining is to compress the ‘’vehicles” and the “art” folders together!
I think you need to extract the vehicles from our zips to the main mod in the vehicles folder Edit: sorry I didn't know TheCrySick already said it
Entries for Round 1 is closed. I'm back to it. Apologies if anyone was waiting on an update, Corona just hit our area hard so I had to take time off. Hope you are all coping well, stay indoors if required! Next round will have two .car files both will be worth 50 points each. This means we are ditching section 2 of the old points system for now. Even though I have over 100 hours in Automation, I've been thinking perhaps someone else may be better suited to rate the cars just for the 'Automation score' category for round 2. If interested, let me know
