First time actually adjusting any of the .jbeam nodes. The fog-lights work properly now, and have low and high beams to replace the original headlights; which were completely removed. One big bonus is that the fog-lights haven't immediately imploded so I must have done something right... Edit: The wing UV's work fantastically as well. Literally learning as I go and nothing's gone horrendously wrong, yet. Don't mind the skin, just made it quick to test out the wing.
Small update. Stuck needing to figure out how to make the texture "stick". Tapping brakes after a crash reverts this dmg texture to default diffuse instead, and that's no good!
Sounds like something to do with the breakgroups? Braking shouldn't even trigger a change in texture at all because the lights are broken. Maybe just double check your breakgroups and compare them with the normal Moonhawk see if anything's majorly different. That's what I do if anything of mine is suddenly broken, especially with things like glass, lights, etc.. Nice wing btw.
Thanks. I'm not sure. The wing and other mods aren't mine, just testing with my usual setup, just the tails mesh I made in blender. I'm using the same slots as the original moonhawk textures, just replacing them with the same names and everything, so I'm not sure why the action of tapping the brakes would make the dmg texture either invisible or remove it unless I'm missing some other texture the game needs in the folder, don't have another explanation for it lol.
Then again, if it’s materials it could be a cache problem. Clear your cache and see if the lights are still messed up. Other than that, all I can say is double check everything, I’d ask to check it myself if I wasn’t about to hit the hay.
Just tested all configs, I'll take some pics tomorrow and upload the update Luckily I had an older game version on a hard drive, engine now has textures
