I'm not sure if this has been said already but it'd be nice if the IBX was classified as a seperate car in the selector since it doesn't really have much in common with the Covet lol

agreed, it's basically its own car, especially when it gets the much needed rear restyle

Here's an idea if you're making the 96 Pessima Coupe a thing XD

    its an 04 now lol
i also think we are gonna stick with the new rear design because so many people liked it
adds waaaay to much unnecessary coding and takes up a ton of unnecessary space

    bad news
the IBX has gone to shit
    so much is broken

    Dash textures
right door doesnt want to exist
    hatch has jbeam issues
rear calipers said "aight we gonna head out"
passenger seat has the dreaded VY Node error

me and LJ have decided to just bin it and restart. its for the best.
    keep in mind:

this new one will be based on the .17 covet after the body / jbeam changes
wont have gone thru the blender of five version
    wont look weird
    will actually crash decently

do this will bump back 1.3, but its for the best. i dont want to release a messed up car lol

There are a lot of out-of-sight problems and problems that have popped up while working on 1.3
Also the model isn't too great

Well, at least you prioritize the quality of the mods so take you time anyway.

    IBX replacement...
i will just keep the old IBX from the current released version
we may update it- but based on what happened when we tried it probably not gonna happen
so its gonna stay a little weird thing for now.

better name I'd say although makes me more curious on what it's gonna be based on, would be nice to keep the current IBX there just because there's no harm in more content although I'd still love to see a proper split rear trunk

About the vanishing door issue do you use multiple uv maps ? Cause I had that problem while ago while modding and it appeared to
be a faulty or accidentally removed uv map iirc. (it had nothing to do with material or so so it was a pain finding the issue)

    I introduce the Ibishu 200NX
a small, Nissan NX2000/Mazda MX-3/Civic inspired hot hatch of the 90's

    Yes, its a T-top
engine options will range from (base to top trim):
    -1.8 SOHC I4
    -1.6 SR-TEC I4
    -1.8 DOHC V6

it is a FWD chassis strictly
dont ask for AWD i swear

currently it weighs 2.9K lbs, 1.3K Kg
that will change to a more reasonable 2.5K lbs here soon

everything else is subject to change, and probably will. hope you guys like it
