Carrying Items in Truck

Hey guys. I'm really new to doing anything in this game except driving around, so this is probably obvious to many.

I want to spawn barrels and other objects and place them in the pickup bed, having them affected by physics. I want to simulate the added weight and such.

Can I do that? If so, how?

 

You can by pressing F11 and spawning them in but they clip through the bed.

Thanks. I'll check the link. How do I move items around in the editor? If I try to move something, it snaps to a location, and that's it. Sorry to be so newbish.

Nuttin wrong with being a noob, we all were at one point. In the future, there will be delivery missions and stuff like that

 

Yes! But I am pretty sure the devs will come up with something different to load your vehicle, other than moving the objects with the editor. Maybe with some sort of crane, or a forklift truck. Oooh! Hell yes, Gabe should make a forklift truck! It would be fun to smash up, and very useful to load trucks with! Gabe! You really should make one if you can! You made a semi, a boxtruck, maybe time to try something different again rather than cars?

 

If you highlight a vehicle once you have spawned it in. You can move it around but not very accurately.

 

Currently it is not possible to carry things in the truck due to objects clipping. They are planning on fixing it.
