I made this thing like a week or two ago. the base for it was the miramar and it has miramar proportions. ive tried to make differ from a 240z by making it more boxy and added some minor 2000gt elements. it would also have a miramar like rear panel. I dont know jbeam that well and I think you would be able to make something out of it more than I could. Also name ideas for the car: -Ibishu Angel -Ibishu Devil -Ibishu Yuki -Ibishu Tenshi
i thought something like 250x. because gtz to me was like the gtr. X for eXperimental. thats why there is an x on the fuel cap
Thanks for the noice words, but I don't know jbeam either Will have to get someone that knows how to jbeam really good if atv_123 will be too busy to work on this. Also, the name has been chosen long ago & it's.. Ibishu ******** *
Not really, the IRL equivalent of something like this that would be produced in the early 90s would be the Z32 300ZX, not the S13.
Small Project I just started working on (Only wireframe available now, will make an actual mesh later)
Modern v8, short nose, unibody. Considering you are from nz id say commodore or falcon. --- Post updated --- getting some golf 2 and lancia delta vibe. Keep it up
Finished up a basic mesh for this hatch: First actual model I made from scratch in a while, looks good but I think it needs some refinement.
I know I posted the 280Z knockoff not so long ago, but I've been keeping this vehicle under covers from the forum for like 8 months now & just can't contain myself anymore, as it's 97.46% complete. This vehicle will be used as a showcase model of the real one so more people can acknowledge that such car existed, how it looked like & to preserve history in 3D. Out of the 8 months of modeling, I spent like 3 on JUST the engine as all I had to go off were 2 crappy pictures from 1925 & a partial blueprint that I got from the man that rebuilt the car in real life so I'm doing it for him. To what I managed to find out, I am possibly the very first person to make a 3D model of this engine, as I said before, the amount of information about it is REALLY scarce, so it was quite the challenge to even understand the shape of the engine, where things go on it etc. (huge thanks to @atv_123 for his knowledge of cars). This is my first "commercial" model & I'm really proud of how it came out after all. There were a lot of times where I just quit modeling it, as it was so challenging & annoying as I constantly had to remake parts as on one picture they looked that way yet on another picture, the part looked different. Hopefully, after the renders are handed off to the aforementioned owner of the real car, I will be able to put it into BeamNG (altough it may not happen at all, so please, don't hold my word for it) If only it could look this good in BeamNG Not everything on this is coloured correctly as I forgot a few things here & there, but it doesn't really matter as this was just a test render with changed settings in Cycles renderer so the filesize of the image could be cut down by a lot for the future use & doesn't show the final product
Seems very probable, although the image I posted likely isn't the exact model that Sithy made. Speaking of the model, I cannot express myself fully how good that looks.
