Currently being worked on: Hirochi HFA *cough*LFA*cough* engines. So far, I have created the torque curve and the basic file structure for the mod. I am still looking for sound samples that I can use legally. The mod will be released as soon as I can get the engine to sound right. After that, there will be a new jbeam released fro the engine. --- Post updated --- This mod is going to mainly be a proof-of-concept for me. after this, I will be working on a fully functioning Hirohi HFA. --- Post updated --- Thanks to @BombBoy4 for the guide on how to create the mod! Any suggestions would be welcomed
do you have automation? there's a really good audio engine and it's pretty realistic too --- Post updated --- just use audacity (is that what it's called? audio recording software?) and record the audio during engine testing as the exporter is not good
I do not have automation. I have an audio clip, and am working on getting the car to sound right in beamng. I am currently using a stock beamng sound that has been modified for this engine. Currently, the engine is currently only in the Civetta but other cars will be coming soon. I have changed the name of the engine because Ishibu is more like Lexus and does not have a modern sports car. Sadly, the Jbeam idea has been stopped for the near future, mainly because I don't have the time.
I think it would be better as a Hirochi, as there are modern Hirochi cars in the game anyway, which is proof that Hirochi still make cars. The newest Ibishu is the 2001 Hopper, and Ibishu seems more like a utility brand anyway (apart from the 200BX) Also, there is already the SBR4, which means that Hirochi make super/sport cars anyway... But it's your mod so it's your decision
The Hopper is not a utility vehicle. The 200BX, Covet, Hopper, Miramar, and both Pessimas would all like a word with you.
ffs They’re mods Plus neither the Blackfoot or the Kashira are utility vehicles in the sense that the Pigeon is.
Ok, you win The Kashira comes with a van version and the Hopper and Blackfoot are good for farmyards and transporting things I suppose... Anyway I think it would still be better to call it a Hirochi, because Ibishu isn’t really the type of brand you’d expect to build a $370,000 supercar
More cars coming soon. --- Post updated --- Sound coming after the new cars Planned cars: ETK K-series, I-series, and 800; Hirochi SBR4; Gavril T-series, D-series and Roamer, Barstow, Bluebuck, Grand Marshall, and H-series; Ishibu Hopper, Pigeon, 200BX, Miramar; Bruckell Moonhawk; Burnside Special; Wentward DT40L (Yes I realize that the T-series and the DT40L will be ridiculously under powered.) --- Post updated --- Poll time! Ishibu IFA or Hirochi HFA
Say Hirohi or Ishibu (or any other make) in a message, and I will tally the messages. (If somebody could tell me how to make an actual poll, that would be helpful.) --- Post updated --- Any suggestions would be appreciated!
