@Diamondback Here are some good pointers. You may like them you may not. At Least they get the creative juices flowing! Hope this helps!

I know this would sort of be a core feature but for the Fmod side of things a "jake brake" or engine brake would be a nice feature to control for the semi!

    --- Post updated ---

Specific controls besides rev limiter for anti lag and 2step (launch control) so we can control specifically how that sounds

Rev limiter sound control as to oppose just a rpm drop which is what we have now. Most rev limiters don't sound like just rpm drops

I would also like the ability to change gear shifting sounds, and transmission whine!

Nitrous purge sound control as well!

Potential button clicking noise control for auxillary switches! Lights, Jakebrake, Transbrake, Nitrous purge, ect...

Go to 8:00 Minutes in for this one to hear what I am talking about!

    Fuel pump engaging sounds

Really hope this information helps you guys develop and come up with ideas! Thanks for checking this out!

+1 for jake brake, the sound can be postively recreated by applying thorttle whiule braking now, sounds really good.

+1 for launch control and antilag settings, would love to be able to recreate some real good bangs.

-Rpm drop by turning of spark usually is how the rev limiter works so not sure about that. If fuel was to be turned of then the engine would go too lean and take damage.

The rest, not as necessary for me but sure.

brother dave, spark cut rev limiters are what gives you the epic limiter sound, as fuel is still being injected, pooling up in the exhaust/manifold, and gets ignited. take the bee*R limiter for example (i have lots of experience with these irl), cuts spark at a set rpm, with a short or long delay. longer delay = more un ignited fuel = pops and bangs(given you have an open exhaust). alot of factory vehicles do actually use fuel cut limiters, but they also retard ignition.

Very true, are you also a engine builder/tuner? I have years of experience building engines and tuning all things JDM (not Hondas though for some reason.. mostly Skyline, Supras and Evos)., would be fun to have more of us in here! I remember when i first got my rb2630dett running on a base tune, eager to take it for a drive i just cruised through the city centre of where i live and it made the loudest bang ive ever heard (twin holset s200 series turbos, twin 3" dps to a 4" exhaust system). Need i say the base tune was pretty rich down low...

On topic, would really love to see this feature in the future, alongside a saveable Ctrl+F9 Audio menu option/system.

My vote is for anti-lag flames or whatever it's called. That's definitely an exciting thing if implemented and would get all the touge, drift, street and wangan modders excited.
Yeah and offroad tyre sounds in general need an overhaul in areas as mentioned by others here.
