Hey guys and gals... Awesome work on this so far. Question for the big cheeses on this project. I have been reading about all this in different places, so i may have missed/forgot if i seen anything on this, but... Does this have the ability to do an IP to IP connection. Dedicated server hosted by me. I play different games with my brother and when possible i host the game and he joins. I do this with rFactor and the like from a laptop. I am sure i would need a more powerful comp to host this game which i will make happen if its possible lol. Just wondering if this has the ability to do that kind of thing or will in the future. Since its just me and him i was thinking that would be an easier thing to do as opposed to a main server with a lot of people from all over the world. Told my brother if this game gets a reliable way to do multiplayer and maybe a few other tweaks, we would probably leave every other driving game we play in the dust. haha Thanks everyone
There is currently a way to host dedicated servers. You do need to port forward to allow external connections, but it works just as well as the official servers.
huge bump but me and @Alexio have been camping in a fiat ducato mod today (the other players could not see them, only me and @Alexio could.) I LOVE THIS MOD!!!
Be aware that modded vehicles is prohibited in official servers. For custom servers, they are allowed per the server owner. If you have a modded vehicle that others do not have, The others who do not will only see the default pickup truck
Ok but I don’t really mind if other players only see pickups because me and my friend can see it and that’s what I wanted.
I dont know if im going off topic here.. buuut Just out of interest: Its sbout the multiseat feature that is already in the game. Is it possible to write a mod that would convert that into a splitscreen type deal? Sorry if this has already been answered.
