Had this mod for a while, some of the conifg parts are absolutely brilliant and do exactly what I need them to do.
Living in the UK, I have absolutely no interest in American Demolition Derbies really as they're pretty crap compared to what we have over here..... BANGER RACING!

I enjoy watching it that much I had a go at it myself just after my 16th Birthday and I've done it another two times since. And built 3 more cars for 2020 so might have a bit more luck this year.

Some of the features like the Derby Fuel Tank, welded doors and bootlids (trunks) really improve the game for me, as I use it for creating Banger Racing events mainly.
The work you have done for the Canadians and Americans is great, but is there any chance you could do something for us Europeans who like a real crashing thrilling motorsport?!

Currently, we have welded panels on most cars but are missing basic things that to me would really improve my experience. I don't have time to make mods and so I'm doing what everyone else does, requesting!
But not for myself but actually on behalf of our big scene. I run a Facebook group which gets several posts every week of fans from all over the country sharing their banger racing videos and photos on BeamNG.Drive.

We mainly use the Ibishu Covet, Ibishu Pessima 1st Gen & 2nd Gen, ETK I - Series and the Ibishu Miramar as well as the Gavril Grand Marshal. Hirochi Sunbursts are somewhat popular choices too.

I'd like to ask for a few simple things which I reckon is fairly simple for someone skilled to be able to do!
    - Make all radiators invisible and indestructible - In the UK we mainly use Steam Tanks attached to the bulkhead, these are metal boxes filled with water to act as a cooling system.
    - Make Dashboards Removable
    - Make the Driveshaft indestructible on the Miramar and the ETK I - Series.
    - Add two tone liveries that allow us to paint the roof and roof pillars a different colour to the rest of the body.

This would be a gamechanger for us, if you want to take this a step further you could even add H Frame Roll Cages and door plates to protect the driver (similar to those in Wreckfest)

    Cheers
    #270

Sorry that you find american derbies to be "crap," honestly I stopped reading not long after that. Have fun looking for someone else to make free stuff for you, because I won't be that guy with messages like this. Go learn how yourself.

Huge fan of the mod. I don’t have internet access at home, so I rarely get to update everything. I just got the blue back last weekend. I believe somewhere you said the frame was set to low causing the car to belly quick. Was wondering if this got fixed or will be in an upcoming update? Also idk if it’s just my driving or what but quite a few times I’ll get the rear packing and the frame kinks hard in about the middle of the trunk causing it to drag and get hung. I was wondering if a body mount could added or something lol. Not huges deals or anything just wondering. Also, can’t wait for the Vics to be done, they are slick for sure.

It doesn't really belly that bad, the model of the frame just sticks out under the car. Trunk really only goes down if you hit the wall in my experience, mess with different trunk setups and tire sizes. With a trunk lid in stock position it's definitely hard on the frame

Seems like I’ve the best luck with the deep tuck. I just put bigger tires on the rear and smaller on the front to make it sit level and it seemed to help from frame giving out so much. Also, thanks for all the hard work you put in!

I can say in all of my time running with the pack I managed to completely belly the frame once I think, and that was on the wagon after at least 10-15 minutes. Otherwise everything works pretty well and is good fun to play with. Looking forward to the stuff to be added in the future. :)

Just not as wild as your Banger Races. and Im pretty sure a Steam Tank is legal in some classes correct me if Im wrong. And the driveshaft shouldnt be indestructible?? How many real cars have indestructible driveshafts?

I mean, it was a bit odd making that comment on an American demo derby mod made by American demo derby drivers. Personally it isn't really the opinion but the tone that got to me.

I don’t care what his opinion is, what I care about is someone coming in, saying they don’t even like what my mod is, then telling me to start making a new mod just for them

Chill, its not that big of a deal, I just get tired of people telling me to shift my focus to new content when they clearly don't understand the time investment involved. I like hearing what people want but the way some people do it gets old. And I'm not a modder who decided to make a derby mod, I'm a derby driver who learned who to mod so I could make what I wanted, so obviously I'm going to stick to derby content

I think he wants all the feedback of pics and such. He allows it in a facebook group. As long as noone leaks it and shares the file with ones that aint suppose to have it.

    Alright calm down! Jesus!

They're pretty crap compared to what we have in the UK is what I was stating, nothing to do with your mod it's mint mate no need for that, all I was suggesting was if you could be kind enough to make a few parts for the Banger Racing scene.
And yes I've helped with mods in the past just don't have time for it anymore, I used to help Peter Beamo out with the derby mod hence why there's a few banger cars in the pack.
And I did a huge config mod that I was going to release but the creators of the game released an update which broke almost every single one of them.

I'm not silly either, I know the time involved in making stuff like this. I did a few car mods on Rigs Of Rods back in the day for the banger scene including a MK3 Cortina Estate, an edited version of the Burnside pack that turned all of the cars into banger racers, and I also made a Nissan Sunny as well as many many skins and wheel mods. And they took ages.

Indestructable driveshafts is just because they seem way too easy to break on these two cars, You can't make decent wrecks with them and when using the Beam Regenerator to mend them slightly, sometimes it breaks the driveshaft.
Enduro races are nothing like bangers mate, seen them myself couldn't compare them apart from they use cheap cars like we do usually.

On which cars? My issue is that on bodies that I've modified, I need to make new .dds files for skins for them or else the skins are going to appear wrong. These are going to get made for the vics, so they can be fully skinned

Also, little update, the vic is very close to being done for stock class setups. It has a sedan, coupe, and wagon body. Have some modeling left to do, then onto texturing
