For now not, because the car itselfs doesn't have a v8 engine model and i have a hard time to port another model in it.

 

would it be possible to make the same with a Diesel engine? Because most diesels in the game wont produce Torque with diesels and a more customizable diesel would be awesome

 

i just saw the poll isn't there anymore because of the theater been linked. I made a poll for the next update, like all engine types and diesel update for I5 and V8.

From monday i won't be home for some month's, only the weekend, so i can't do too much.
But next update will be Diesel update. And probable i rework the I5 and fix the V8 with power curves.
Most votes got the Diesel and also close was I6 Engine. But i didn't started yet.

 

The v8 produces soo much resistance. Is this a bug or am I missing something stupid. ~The engine barely runs and if I shut it off, it wont turn back on.

 

You should make an i6. (maybe a 2jz???)

 

yeah its a little akward.
if you use the free programmable ecu you can change the idle rpm, but it will also change the torque curve at low, so you need to adjust the starter.

I need to rework this on some point.

I wrote this some post bevor. There was a poll what is should make next.

 

are there any plans for 4-bangers(in the Roamer/D15 especially)? that would probably be able to fulfill my desire of getting my old s10 in-game again, in the shape of the d15 tuned right.

Need to add some DRAG slicks for traction and stronger driveshaft, because at 4000hp it starts to brake you know

Haha nice to hear that but I can't program or something. The whole mod is written with the normal things the game gives you to change. I Just tried to make something. First some simple engine mods and understanding how everything works.
The whole mod is based very simple. The engine has a high friction level, so less power. Now every part removes some friction = power gain. There are also some tables for deeper customaciable. But there's only 3 of them.

For now not, first i will rework the v8 and i5 and then make a diesel version of it.

 

But I want to make every engine type this customaciable. But this will take some time.

 

Not sure if this is intentional or not but i tried to put the roots super charger on and no super charger appeared. Was very shocked with this mod i thought it was a few simple parts not 80 plus options. i gotta play with it more but for the time i had for it i couldn't, great job tho im excited.

 

The models doesn't change with those parts yet.

I will make a v8 diesel and the i5 too. v8 diesel i changed every part to fit on a diesel. but the torque curve is akward.
But those engine will come in the T-Series

But i don't have much time now.

 

Do you have a fix for the following?

When I change the camshaft nothing happens, so power/torque stays the same. You can hear the idle change with for example a stage 2 cam, but power remains the same. I have it with both the V8 and i5

 

I have the same problem. the thing is, i don't know why. sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't work. when you restart the game, then it mostly works. But i don't know why it doesn't work. when you have a vehicle with the cam saved and load this car, it works every time. but when you equip a the cam to a new spawn vehicle, its likely that it doesn't work. but i don't know why.

 

Why not V12? everyone wants that :|

 

I build an Bolide V8 today and the car sometimes drives on its own???, dont know why, it only stops when i turn off the engine

 

I think it's when the idle is too high on a automatic car.

I made a pool some time ago, v12 wasn't that popular. But I want to make a version for every engine types. But it will take some time because ich can't work on it till may

 

Is there a way to lower the idle with the engines???, i tryed an manual too but it driving and reved from its self :/
