I mean it's simple chemistry (since fire is chemistry). The more fuel and less suppression supply (in this case water) the bigger the fire. One of the best way to prevent extreme wildfires is to let them burn while there small or do control burns. Do I blame anyone yes and I blame the lack of controlled burns the the extinguishing of small wild fires.... wait I'm talking about Australia this seem like a familiar discussion from 3 years ago..... huh the world is getting small.
