Probably because he took them before deciding to use Photoroom Light for the rest of the cars in the pack.

I personally like the plain white thumbnails more than the flashy ones but it’s your mid so whatever you like the most.

I personally like to have my mod thumbnails identical to the stock ones, because it looks more uniform. To me, the map used for the new cars looks like a plain white, so it doesn't sound like it would be too hard to make in the map editor (I think you can change the background color of the stock thumbnail map).
