"Repo Error" When Downloading Mods

Hi,
When ever I try to download a mod it downloads for sometime then stops at the middle and says:
"Repo Error
Could not download the file
(Check console for details)"
Then there is a Loading Circle

And in C:\Users\*****\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods
there is a file called "db.json" with a size around 1KB
and there is a empty folder called "repo"
When downloading the mod, there is no change made the the "mods" Folder and/or the "repo" Folder andthe "db.json"

 

The Support ID is: 63602

 

most of the large size mods (e.g 1.2GB) have this error but most of the small size mods don't
And Turning off the antivirus did not work
Is there a way to download through Chrome or somewhere other than BeamNG directly?

Hey Nadeox, could you please add Avast Antivirus to the list? For some users, Avast blocks the installation of mods in the repository.
