The race went...well, interestingly for me. The 200BX cart had barely any traction for the majority of the race and resulted in me inadvertently ending up in a ditch and a DNF. Along with a bent inner tie rod, the ditch also collected my exhaust, ripping the studs right out of the exhaust manifold and consequently cracking it. Once I make those repairs to the car, it will be ready to race again though.
(Do you gonna sell the covet?) --- Post updated --- Got new job as trucker. First day first load at the tree cutting station In the evening: Yes got 350 for one delivery I thing I will get new wheels tires and new paint for the covet Later: Ok time to go to the shop *Goes to the shop and buys parts *Goes back *Works on the covet *Done work. Look at this thing
If you want it, come get it for free. Bring a trailer. I know i need to stop buying cars, but when sometning like this comes round i cant pass. I was installing a new transformer box behind this buisness when i saw a red pessima, rusty and abandoned. When i had finished i asked the manager and found out it was an old company car. It got abandoned after they switched to sunbursts. After a bit of fresh fuel and a jump start from my company H series it started 1st try. the guy gave it to me for a small reduction of $20 from his new transformer. I guess the covet has a replacement.
Pulls covet outside of driveway onto the pavement. I took my GM to the parts shop to buy some wheels today, they look sick
I need a tow hitch *Goes to the store Hmm The tow hitch cost 40 dollar *Think.I will buy it *Buys *Starts working on the covet *Takes out the rear bumper *Installs tow hitch. *Puts back the bumper *Drives to rent a trailer It will cost 10dollars why not? Arrives to @missionsystem *Says HEY! The Covet is manual? And what engine it has? --- Post updated --- *Get's ready to pick covet
The race went decent for me, my Pessima did pretty well in the race. I might even keep it around for a bit. Moonhawk is now clean of rust, I need to give it a fresh paint job and get a few performance parts.
Theres not really any huge problems. It runs a bit rough after over 200k miles but it runs and drives. it has flat tires. Some rust but only surface rust. It was an old driving school car before i got it. Paint is very bad, most body panels are decent though.
Thanks! --- Post updated --- Got home unloaded car *Taked the trailer to the place where I rented Now back home. For this day that's all
I bought a workshop! Winter's coming and I have no safe place to keep my cars warm while it's snowing and roads are being salted. I'm able to fit 3 cars in it so that's pretty neat. It used to be an old wood shop before the owner closed up and retired. Now I have somewhere where I can work on my cars and store them, and even make some stuff with wood if I wanted to, as the owner left all of his equipment here.
So I believe that I finally acquired my winter vehicle. I picked up this 1995 Hopper for $6,000, which is a reasonable price. It's a generally minimal rust vehicle and has close to 200K miles on its 4.0L engine, so it should do just fine for what I need it for. Little did I know that when I picked up this Hopper that I'd also be taking home another one from the same seller for an additional $500. This is a completely rust free roller which should make for a fun project eventually. It has been completely gutted, leaving me with only a frame, tub, fenders, hood, and axle housings. For now it'll occupy more space in the "junkyard" until I figure out what to do with it.
My grandpa called me and sayd: I need help. help me so I sayd:Ok I arrived at his place and he sayd: connect this trailer to you car.For the delivery I am going to pay you 50dollars. I connected it Then we drived to the seller and we loaded it We got home after the load up: So I thinked my Covet doesn't have rear brakes but I have another cove and I am going to change *Changes Ok changed.time to get this car to the place
Ok. While I was driving I thinked who's live there? I will drive to him after work. Next news:got promotion to driver now I can drive vans and other things and now I got this bad boy After 15mins I've got new order:delivery cola to store *Unloads Time to drive back to the station For this day my boss told me that that's all. So while I was driving to wanted to talk to my neighboard *Drives to @Cory5503 *Knocks on the door
I decided to do something proper with the pessima today instead of letting it sit like the covet. With snow forecast i needed a new winter daily as the i series would be hard to drive and the GM wouldnt be drivable. I took the red beater down to the garage and we immediately started stripping the car to see what we had to work with. The car went on the ramp and the suspension and engine were removed. the frame was sound, with some rust that required sanding. Most was just dirt. The interior cleaned nicely. Sadly, all the suspension was very rotten and was thrown out. After a sand and primer, the car looked way better The engine and suspension were reinstalled. New suspension parts were already in stock. The running 2.7 was installed with a new 5 speed manual. The body parts that were ok (truck and spoiler only) were reinstalled and a new set of ZXi front parts were installed. As i am a frequent customer, this cost me just over $2,000, which in addition to the $20 car makes it quite cheap.
my etk i engine arrived today. i replaced the engine immediately. i have also made some small adjustments to the bluebuck engine, and i think it should be able to run now.
