It's meh. It's not like one of those compact cars that have squinty ass headlights and wide ass vents, but it's not a super good design compared to most of other modern Volvo designs.
The Polestar 1's back is..... a little hideous Just like the front grille which might double as a cheese grater
The rear end of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross looks like a modern re-creation of the Pontiac Aztek. Except it's even worse, since that would be like if Pontiac decided to revive the Fiero nameplate by slapping it onto the Aztek...
Ironically I just nickname it the "Mitsubishi Aztek" because it's more of a spiritual successor to the Aztek rather than the Eclipse (by a long shot).
Everyone likes to shit on the Aztec but hey, at least it was interesting to look at. However its corporate upmarket cousin the Buick Rende-whatever is somehow worse than the Aztec.
Gotta be fair, I don't hate the Rendezvous (although I don't know why they had to choose such a awkward name for it, it's not really memorable). It looks just fine to me, nothing too great but nothing so hideous.
