I’m hoping we get a modern American Gavril sedan. A charger/taurus sort of thing would be perfect, because it extends the lore and is a huge step forward in terms of rounding out the vehicle lineup. Plus, we’d also get the prospect of a modern police vehicle. (Yeah, the sunburst exists. I’ve never seen an American PD of any kind using an STI or Evo though, so I’m discounting it.)

 

Do we have an idea of anything on the concept list that could come next that isn’t the Wendover? Besides the revamped D/H-Series, I don’t really know what else it could be other than something not on “the list.”

Does this hint mean 0.18 will be coming out soonish? It seems roughly about time from the past update.

I can see your point, as we have a lo of sedans represented. However, a modern American car is both long overdue, and would fill a gaping hole in the lineup.
Either that or a new 5door EU spec Covet.

 

Well the next update is coming soon, we just need to define what is "soon". Because it could be in 4 days (like what my nifty spreadsheet show ) or in a month for something around christmas. I wouldn't bet too much on 2 November because we haven't got many teaser recently, unless the devs start to upload many teaser in the next 4 days, I don't think we will get it for this date

I think a big FWD SUV (with AWD option) could be a fun car to have in game. Since it adds more variety to vehicle weights, and could add a different play style to the game. It would also make a lot of sense to see as an AI car while driving.

 

Looking at the concept list + "planned but not confirmed" electric car, the only things we know are modern are the 2014 Roamer, Covet, and we can assume the electric car. Then there's the 2 Jargl's and the Soliad with unknown years. I would be surprised if we get 2 Soliad's back to back and if any Soliad is modern, and I expect the next car to be European since we have a lot of American and Japanese cars. So that brings us down to the Jargl's from the OG concept list + the electric car.

I'm guessing this car is mid 2000's by the "define modern" comment. Electric cars were still very niche at that time and looking at 2008 Tesla Roadsters for sale, they are rare and expensive. Which means IMO it wouldn't be a great choice for a car if we are try to get the vehicle roster ready for career mode. Pay a lot of money for a worse eSBR. As for the Sweedish option, Volvo's from this time were just boring...

TLDR: Either I'm wrong about the model year of the new car or IMO it isn't a known concept.

Something that I could see being potentially in game is something like a new Subaru Outback or Crosstrek, a nimble, practical, AWD wagonish vehicle.

Nah, I'd rather have a '69 Moonhawk.

But judging from the "define modern" comment, I'm guessing some kind of American car from between 1990 and 2010. Since we already have the Roamer, and since the crossover plague hadn't quite reached stage 4 by then, it probably won't be an SUV. An updated Grand Marshal wouldn't be different enough from the one we already have, so it probably won't be a land barge either. We already have the LeGran and Pessimas, so there's no reason to expect a FWD midsize. And why bother adding a junky American compact like the Cavalier, since nobody has expressed any interest in one. Now what's the one thing everyone's been asking for from day one?
