    Hi,

    I'm getting this error

    BeamNG.drive - D3D11 Error #887a0005

It happens while driving, not when loading or spawning anything.

I can't see to fix it - I've tried all sorts of graphics options and deleting the cache. Please can somebody adivse?

    I have i9900k + RTX 2080ti + Win10

    Thanks

Note that the thread you linked is old, this is not an issue in the latest drivers anymore since a while.

Did you overclock your GPU? If yes, please check by returning the GPU to its own model stock settings

If no, please check if this happens in Safe Mode too (In the launcher, under Support Tools)

Seems most likely it was a GPU problem. The 4 week old 2080ti went out like a light yesterday. I assume the instability was just a build up to coup de grace.

With so many reports of problems with these cards, I'm going to replace with a 2080 Super.

I'll report back once I (hopefully) have a nice stable system again.

I was getting multiple GPU errors per day with driver version 436.48; since going to 425.31 yesterday, not one.

(UPDATE 2019-11-24 – no issues with driver version 441.20)
