Honestly, it's not the worst I've seen. I do like it better than some of the designs they have for the Silverado. Yeah, and I like it for what it is. It is a shame that they didn't reserve the name for something more like a K-5 revival, considering that the Ford Bronco is on the horizon. At least it still has SUV traits in it, and isn't a situation like the Eclipse Cross, where they turn a vehicle into something that really, really doesn't fit the name. I do think Chevrolet missed two opportunities to create a Bronco rival with both the Blazer, and even the Trailblazer names, cause apparently the Trailblazer is coming too, and it's apparently slated in between the Trax and the Equinox. I guess Chevrolet just isn't interested in competing with the Ford Bronco or the Jeep Wrangler. It honestly doesn't look too bad either, but I do wonder if Trailblazer was really the best name for it. I would say, again, that it isn't a situation like the Eclipse Cross. And speaking of that, I do wonder what it'd be like if Dodge brought back the Ramcharger as a Bronco rival.
It’s gorgeous, wow! Lots of Audi and Lynk&Co in the design, which, unfortunately, is only a concept. But it still is very promising for the future of Toyota design. The interior definitely deserves a mention too.... It’s nicer inside than any modern Lexus. I’m shocked. It still looks worse than the Clarity in my eyes, but it is a MASSIVE step forward for Toyota design.
As it is right now, it looks amazing! Doesn't seem to have those banged up doors we see in modern car design also. My only problem with the design is the grille which is still massive, but maybe they could do something about that as it goes into production.
As mentioned above, that car is a concept in name only. Everything about it screams production ready. It it were a concept, they would have put bigger wheels on it and a steering wheel that doesn't look like its from a Camry. So I very much doubt they will suddenly decide to do the following. I would imagine everything is set in stone at this point. I think this is a car aimed squarely at wealthy old people (50-60+) who want a GT car. Who want something eco friendly, but for some reason don't want a BEV. Who don't mind having to live close to a hydrogen refuelling station, and not being able to travel due to lack of infrastructure, that also can't be refuelled at home overnight. To me it seems a bit niche. Why is the bonnet so long? Its a fuel cell powered EV, there is no engine underneath it. As such they have had to compromise on cabin space, making it less suitable for carrying adults in the rear, and compromising luggage space. So its no good for those who have jobs that require carrying passengers or clients. A fuel cell car sounds pretty ideal for inner city taxi use, since quick fuelling, and no need to set up extensive infrastructure, so gimping this car like that seems odd. For families it doesn't really make sense for the same reasons. Then people who buy sports saloons with big engines and long bonnets are not going to be interested in a Hydrogen Fuel cell car. Even if they were, there are plenty of cars already in that (shrinking?) market, many of which are almost certainly going to be better overall than this Toyota. I do like the Supra styling showing through, I hope there is more of that to come. But I don't foresee them selling many of these. I would like to be proven wrong though.
That would probably be like a modern (downsized to a midsizer) Ram SUV, which actually sounds like something I could see doing pretty decent in their lineup. A RAM Rebel SUV especially sounds like pretty sick, and could give good competition to something like a Bronco Raptor or 4Runner TRD Pro. There's also the direction of making a 2-door Durango and naming it the Ramcharger as well, but the Ram SUV idea sounds more interesting.
I really like it and hope it does well just because i want to see it more often. Also it looks alot like a Lexus so maybe its going to be called a Lexus over here?

I can see some folks here having a hard time commenting on this...
The idea that a pure electric car would ever be a good choice for... pretty much anything is laughable at best. Despite the development work and glamorization done by Tesla and now, sadly, Porsche (whoever decided to apply the Turbo nameplate to an electric car should be shot), they are still hounded by numerous practical issues the biggest of which are external to the cars themselves. If we go full throttle on BEVs, things are going to get bad in a hurry... I'm talking blackouts, brownouts, electricity prices through the roof, and when the greens finally realize we need more power plants to run all this, it won't be the power companies, the nudging bureaucrats, or the EV manufacturers that pay to build them.
