I'm sure if the developers are even still reading this forum, they're probably only going to pay attention to suggestions that have great amounts of detail. You know, things like posting what kind of trim levels it has, how much power it makes, what kind of engine and transmissions does it have, things like that.
Yeah, thats true, I want to make a way more detailed proposition for the pegaso truck I posted earlier. It had a lot of history on the road and its the most reconizable truck in spain. Did you know that pegaso did in fact made an ELECTRIC variant prototipe of it? It didn't have much autonomy at all but still is a curious thing about it dont you think? It had a 2 axle variant and later they made a semi out of it. It was a small truck and quite primitive compared to their continental counterparts due the position of the country after the civil war.

*this is like the third time I'm trying to convey my concept of an ideal suggestion. It is rather difficult without knowing more about the vehicle team's development process and goals* I disagree with that in some ways. Certainly about the trim levels. Factory trim levels are generally pretty standard, suggesting a name and trim level can easily become roleplay instead of a well informed suggestion. Stuff like that is going to be done by the devs how they see fit regardless of the suggestion. Similar situation for performance specs. Generally something like "Cars of this type tend to have small displacement V8 engines and manual transmissions" is the most I would want to see unless someone has really done their research in the historical context and how things translate to in game. The exception being more unique trim levels/variety of trim levels. Example: "Almost any muscle car from 1980's-present could cover a wide variety of racing because they are affordable, powerful, and from a suspension standpoint can easily be set up for many different racing disciplines. They usually have X drivetrain for base models and Y drivetrain for high end models. An unusual case is the in house performance division which put a supercharged 500hp Z into car... I should've started at a different variable..." @acynder actually gave a perfect example of this just two posts before this. They mentioned the electric prototype of the afore-suggested truck. That's an interesting fact that conveys information which is new to most readers and not obvious from the base information about the vehicle. Side note, personally I feel that having more theoretical designs, prototypes, failed experiments, etc... in game is a perfect way to use the physics engine and really needs to be considered more often by the devs. Example, the original BMW M8. Only one prototype was made and the world, outside of the few people working on the project, never got to see such a unique vehicle. Or an equivelant of a Pinto or Corvair so we can drive controversial cars in game. Putting prototypes/failed experiments like those in game would be great, but now I'm turning my post about suggestions into a suggestion itself. I'm on a mobile device so putting this side rant in a spoiler after the fact would suck, so it's staying here. People posting on this thread need to realize that the BeamNG dev team takes what, 6-12 months to make an official car? Justifications as to why something should go in game is critical. Example: "A medium duty truck is currently the largest unfilled niche concerning physical size" "An MR2/Fiero competitor would be an additional car which is not front engine, and the only affordable one that isn't a 1950's Italian compact car" "We don't have any cars which are not American/Japanese/German/Italian. Adding literally anything from another country would be great for variety" "A classic hot rod would fill a missing niche of car culture" Unlike some recent suggestions of "add a mechanically identical copy of an existing vehicle because reasons"... TLDR: Suggesting information which is obvious, essentially roleplay, or stuff which will be handled by the devs is useless. Including justifications for the suggestion becoming official, especially if it's not obvious, is necessary.

It would be nice to see such a car added in-game eventually, seeing as we've got american barges for days and a few japanese and "euro" cars, but the iconic british car industry has pretty much no representation in this game at the moment
A (working) Modern EtK Sedan Concept It would be cool to see a (working) etk sedan again. Maybe instead of a traditional sedan, there could be a 4 door "coupe". This would be similar to the new BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe. Body It would ride on the same platform as the K Series, just with a longer wheelbase to accompany the 2 extra doors. This new body style would not be drastically different from the current K Series, but would include facelifted styling. Naming EtK K Series Speedback/Sportback/Fastback Added numbers and letters to symbolize the amount of cylinders and engine aspiration (ex: Kc4t, Kc6t) Engines Offers current Inline 6 engines from the K Series and 800 series Possibly a smoother 4.0L V8? No 4 cylinders because this car is supposed to feel more premium and less like an economy car unlike the other EtK models equipped with 4 cylinder engines Features Frameless windows! Existing K Series safety tech (ESC, post collision braking, etc) A liftback tailgate Optional HUD Upscale "laser" LED headlamps LED tailights A fresh, higher quality interior than the current K Series An illuminated grill ('cause why not?) Possibly even a back up and/or 360 degree view camera that could link to the cars infotainment screen? And while were talking about tech, maybe instead of traditional mirrors, the car could feature optional camera replacements with screens located next to the A pillar on the dash My Thoughts Over all, I think this would be a welcomed addition to the game, we haven't seen anything like it (official content, that is)! I for one love sedans and recently I have been doing some research on fastback/sportback sedans. These cars are the Kia Stinger, Audi A5 Sportback, Buick Regal Sportback, and Porsche Panamera. 1973 - 1978 Autobello Passera ( Based off the 1976 Fiat 131 and 1975 Lancia Beta Coupes ) "The Autobello Passera is a small RWD two-door coupe designed to be practical and fuel efficient while being fun to drive and affordable." Reason to be added: We don't really have a small, simple, lightweight two door coupe in Beamng. Cars that are two door coupes are either classic American muscle cars, like the Moonhawk, Bluebuck, and Barstow, or very powerful German sports cars, like the ETK K-Series. A nice simple and affordable coupe would be a great addition to Beamng Drive, and would make for a great starter car when the Career Mode is put in. Trims: Azione: The entry level Passera, the Azione, was as basic as a 1970s Italian Coupe could get. It comes with a 64hp 1.3L OHV I4 and a 4 speed manual transmission. It also came with two square headlights and simple interior furnishings. Azione Lusso: The Azione Lusso is exactly the same is the regular Azione, aside from a few key differences, such as the additonal option of a 3 speed automatic, 4 circular headlights, a different grille, side rubbing strips, chrome window surrounds, and rubber bumper inserts. Veloce: The Veloce is the second and highest trim level of the Passera. It comes with a 74hp 1.6L OHV I4 and a choice of a 4 speed manual or 3 speed automatic transmission. Circular Headlights and a different grille also came as a standard on the Veloce Passera. Veloce Lusso: The Veloce Lusso is mechanically identical to the regular Veloce Passera, but it also has some special options, such as; side rubbing strips, chrome window surrounds, rubber bumper inserts, wood trim, air conditioning, and leather seats. Rally: The Rally Passera is a legendary Underdog in the rally world.
