Yeah its True, everyone at my High School asked me "Which area of London were you born in" and my response was simple "No I was born in St James in Edinburgh during a Foggy day", St James was the maternity hospital which was demolished years later and turned into a High School

Kicked on the furnace for the first time in a long while. It's no longer 68 degrees in here, but I can feel my nose drying out already.

Today 6 years ago, on Tuesday 15th October 2013 I joined this site and today I am writing this blog to mark this day, a lot of things have changed in 6 years, I was once on a Worfdale processor with a 2C/2T configuration and well now I am on an almost 4 year old Haswell-E 8C/16T processor, when I joined I was the 30681st member to be on this game and over those years I was an arse I mean it, early years I was a fool, almost ended up with a life ban on here but thats when I took a 1 year away to find myself and recover and find out who I really was...and since then I have been a lot better, who knew it would take the Automation Forums where I was I do admit a bigger ASS than I was here in my early years and I 100% regret that and I have come clean to KillRob over the entire incident and he understood that with me being Autistic and other things it was hard for me, but then I found this place of a recommendation from there and here I am now, it was the best £20 I ever spent :)

So yeah, I remember the Tapatalk system before it went to this current system here, I started being a BeamNG Wiki Contributor, probably the best move I have EVER made because I am the nutcase that does all the Performance comparisons and I go through the wiki flagging Roleplay material and having it removed, but my personal thoughts on the wiki are that if we had a system like where a team of trusted individuals (I think I qualify for that since I put my heart and soul into that wiki) that would have the right to delete materials with a verifiable reason behind it would be better to cut the roleplay shit out of it, I have found a lot of Roleplay shit, sorta like with some people advertising their own mods in the background of pictures not a good way to get going on wiki editing...

As for other things on the forum I have found, I have had to use the "Report" system to flag up when a Discussion page has not been attached to the according mod, I wish I could get that changed so you could put a flag up saying "Hey can you please attach this Discussion on Mod XYZ to the Mod page on the Mod XYZ please" I have a load of varied thoughts on what needs to be done on the forums but over the years I have wound up with a total of 8 warnings, the last warning I got was 31st March 2016 but since then I have been clean for 3 years and I intend to keep myself clean from now on...

Oops, failed my driving test quite dramatically, only one dangerous fault, thank god for dual controls.. Test nerves means i forgot about giving way to the right (well bmw not signalling ended up going left and not crossing my path, and then the one behind did the correct thing and went across my path but i didnt give way to him.. if i didn't go then i would have passed my test :p )
anyway i can always just do the test again. Hopefully 2nd time lucky.

Currently looking at used cars. A Audi A8 does seem nice and its rather not expensive for a luxury car that is only a year old i mean 64k for a fully loaded A8 Diesel wich cost new 190 grand?

I know your feeling, i started the game on a Pentuim 4 HT processor, 3fps. Upgraded to a Pentuim D, 8fps (and i actually found this playable, however my eyes would ache after an hour of gameplay!!), then my Core 2 Quad Q6600 and it was just not quite there, 22-25fps (around this time i purchased the game and then joined forums).. I THEN overclocked my dell (yes) to 2.7ghz and it ran around 28-30fps and was a huge improvement, 30fps was amazing..

And then, 2015, my i5 4690k build, and wow 60fps in BeamNG was a real site to see honestly. However i wasn't that pleased with my GTX960, the 750 to 960 jump wasnt as big as i would have thought, but in general it was pretty good system.

And here i am now, same machine, rather different me :p 11yrs old and now i'm 17. BeamNG was a crucial part of my childhood :) (when Minecraft became boring, BeamNG was good..) could be worse, i could be playing Fortnite :p

Also aspergers here, so i can sympathise with what you said about autism, I have said and seen some interesting things on this forum, feels like another home :p Also lots of cringey posts and etc, but thats all part of growing up.. (this post will likely be one of those). Two people i can think of hit hardest was likely sixsixsevenseven and diamondback (all those gearbox feature requests :p ).

Haha yeah I know man, with me it took me years and a few bad moments at high school but a lot of people that did bully me there at HS now respect me after all I am a self styled Autistic consultant and I help people understand how to handle and cope with autistic people like myself, its rather useful to be that way and I am willing to explain how things work and what things need to be done with it

This is really cool to see people reminiscing over some awesome moments in BeamNG and their lives.
    You love to see it.
    I do, at least.
I have been here since around 2015, and finally began actually interacting with people in 2016. I never was a part of RoR or any of 'The Olden Days' and dont pretend to be. But even then this place actually really helped out with my social anxiety. I was severely mistreated at my old school (pre-K to 7th grade), and the teachers would diddly squat about anything. I loved my them, but dang did they not know how to take care of bullies (a lot worse than that actually). Im glad I'm out of that hellhole. My new school is a blast and i have been here for around 4 years now. Don't regret moving to it at all. And if any of you have seen some of my recent posts, I have really began to feel comfortable again with my confidence levels and standing in life. I have been blessed with a lot of charisma (or so people say :p). Also I'd like to say a thank you to the community in general. Lots of great people here. I wish you all wonderful lives.

Anyway, cringe outa the way lol.
If we are comparing PC then to PC now i was probably off better than both of you @RobertGracie and @Michaelflat and I dont mean that to flex
I had an old HP? (never kept track because i was so young) something or rather and got about 10 FPS. much better now lol.
Also that's really cool RobertGracie, how you council people on how to cope with autistic folk. Awesome work my guy. I mean, I have some traces of Aspergers (from my dads side) and get overstimulated at loud noises and lots of people talking to me at once, but I have learned to work with it. It's really strange because people always ask me why i act so weird, and i cant explain that to them because they just dont seem to understand. I guess having a bunch of nervous ticks to help me cope is kinda weird. Very strange how the mind works.

WBIMP is coming along swimmingly, gonna have a trailer for 1.2 and everything. Im starting to take this project very seriously. Any ideas for stuff any of you guys want to see in the pack? (assuming its not something really tough, I aint no genie lol.

I best get back to my homework; 11th grade is not kind to kids who dont do there work! (And i cant imagine how the rest of life would be if i didnt work lol)

    thats sweet!
i mean, i still get 60 FPS with about 6 cars so its not bad by any means, but these fools like CrashHard getting a cool 60 FPS with 'bout 30 cars spawned.
This guy must have invested in a NASA supercomputer!

His system is a i9-9980XE based system, that processor is the same price as my computer and hes got a couple of RTX Titan cards, and enough memory in it for NASA to borrow, I know all this because its easy to spot :)

Yeah well we all have our dark little secrets, to that point over the 9 years I had been building computers the most I ever spent was like £2000 on a system, but after that it was like £600, £750, £1000, £1000, £1000 then my rebuild that was £3000 but due to tax cuts my dad uses for buying via the company it was £2300 so in total thats £7650 on computers over the 9 years, my own is the most expensive because everything was pushed to 11, all the other machines I would have considered as "Compromised" computers, really great CPU, not so great GPU or not so great CPU and really great GPU, but with my TMO system it was all parts at the really great end of the spectrum for the time in 2015 :)
