im hoping on a reworked pigeon, because now its just a little too strong and has mesh breaking problems
Have you never crashed the D-Series? You physically cannot separate the cab & bed. The centre is stuck together Literally the oldest car in the game.. how do people not know this.
Given they gave the Grand Marshal a low rider and track variant, I wonder if they'll do something similar when they redo the D series. I'd like to see a mini-truck and a NASCAR-style racing truck variant IMO. Also, 5th wheel for the D series would be much appreciated.
Didn't know you specifically meant that. I, and some others, thought you meant actually removing the bed part of it's body from parts selector, rather than having the bed be torn off separately in a crash.
I really wish the devs would look to his mods for some inspiration, he has a lot of great stuff for the older cars and we really could use an official medium duty truck exactly like what he was working on
Seconded on a NASCAR tube frame variant. Im dreaming of a fiberglass body that tears away and flies off after a wreck.
I’m excited for the UI rework. Hopefully the vehicle selector is overhauled, e.g the D-Series has the regular, extended, and crew cabs as well as some future goodies (like a gooseneck) under sub-menus. Same goes for other config-heavy cars, such as the ETK 800 (diesel and gasoline sub-menus) and H-series (Stock, upfit submenus) Some vehicles, like the 200BX and 96 Pessima, would need more content to warrant sub-menus.
Also some way that doesn't split configs into auto/manual (like having 1 button for a sport config and after you press it you have the option of choosing manual/auto)
I still say the vehicle config menu should be inspired by real car websites/adverts/pamphlets. Artistic background image, transmission options consolidated, similar configs (ex: facelift, extended frame) consolidated, realistic factory color choices (interior included) with the other colors in a drop down menu or something, etc...
What do you mean by saying "consolidated"? Also, this art stuff would just be overrcomplicated visual overkill IMHO.
It's just a single image in the back instead of the white background, not exactly complicated. Would look a lot more professional than just a plain white background. Just stick the LWB, facelift, and transmission variations under one config with a drop down or something to select them. Take the I-Series for example. There's no reason at all for one config to have 4 thumbnails. Just have a single 2400i thumbnail and select facelift/transmission on a side panel
I'd personally keep facelifts separate, but merging transmissions is definitely a must. As of now most configurations have duplicates that just take up vehicle selector space.
was poking around in the vehicle files, UWU, what's this? (I can't believe I just said that, what have I become?)
