Opinion's pretty split so I'm gonna keep both! I liked the idea about one being the GTz and the other the regular. Progress on interior: And an artsy render I couldn't help myself with:
i agree, but it is a concept of a strictly japanese model, its highly unlikely the we yanks will get a LHD version.
I drive LHD too lol. But yeah the Miramar is only available in RHD Suicide doors are kinda impossible at this point when I already made hinges and mostly a B Pillar... Little by little... Yes, this will require massive simplifying and texturing work to port into beam, I am aware
this thing is utterly gorgeous, reminds me of the Nissan IDx Nismo but even better, it looks like an automation creation but muuuuuuuuuch better looking lmao i was gonna suggest since from what i can gather this is a concept car maybe a "tribute" model with the miramar luxe's two tone paint and whitewalls? i think that'd look sweet, as for engine choices yeah i agree with the people who have talked about electric/hybrid powertrains and a performance V6 maybe coupled to a 10 speed auto because #modern. either way, an amazing mod!
Progress is amazing mate, damn I wish I had your modelling skills. I'm a major fan of A but will be awesome to see both in game.
Thanks for the comments everyone Yeah that could be attempted UPDATE: Hot daym if I do say so myself... I'll whip up some rims tomorrow probably. Progress on a different front today With the turbo it just spins in 6th gear from a stand still all the way to 200kmh XD The I4 is also imported as it wasn't much extra work Not bothering with details too much since this engine won't be going in the old Miramar anyways (although I will probably leave that as an option)
That is absolutely beautiful... love seeing the progress and I cannot wait to see the wheels you whip up! keep up the fantastic work!
Super clean modeling. Nice to see a fellow industrial designer trying their hand at automotive styling. Loved seeing the design become better resolved with every render, and the muscular future-retro styling you're going for is working out really nicely. A few things of note: The rear door handle looks like it might be located too far back to fit the inner mechanism inside the door unless it flips out like a DB9/DB10 door handle. The door windows look like they might interfere with the door when rolled down, so consider adjusting the window and pillar geometry. The trunk aperture doesn't appear to have any panelling for the seal to attach to as below: The current sill panel would be better off as a plastic side skirt/sill panel cover instead of having it one piece with the rear quarter panel as it projects from the body and is more susceptible to scuffs and dents than a flush sill panel. Plastic would fare better in this case. How are the wing mirrors attached? I'd suggest a sturdy bracket spot-welded to the upper rail/strut tower apron that the mirrors bolt into if you currently don't have a solution. To me, the C-pillar is much too thick. If you wanted to narrow it, you can sharpen the line on the C-pillar to give the illusion that the pillar is smaller than it actually is, or add a cheater panel, black tape, or a small window to break up the pillar too. Entirely up to you, as this is purely subjective! Other than that, I can't really fault much else. Amazing work.
Dumb question but, will there be a luxury version? I am aware this will possibly not happen but it would be cool to have.
