A long term project of mine has come to a point of release!

Ford Capri Zakspeed turbo Group 5 race car from 1981. With its 600hp turbo engine, 800kg weight and massive downforce it can make some epic laptimes!
The model itself is 100% modeled by me so It's not ripped from any game or anything like that. It has full interior, engine and running gear. I really hope you enjoy! :)

Includes division 1&2 configs (~400hp and 600hp, change the engine from the parts menu crtl+w) as well as stripped versions and two different skins (can be changed from materials.cs).

Also huge thanks to the guys who tested it and supported on the way!

    DOWNLOAD!!

If any bugs occur, please let me know about them here or via pm. Feedback is also always welcomed! :)

Best thing I love about this is the light telling me to shift, absolutely amazing that light is, how did you do it?

i crashed one time and saw how it works, it is 'attached' to the rpm needle and when the rpm reaches the desired revs the light moves into the circle. if that makes sense lol.

i found it pretty intuitive(is that the word?) and awesome how he thought of that lol.

It also has signifigant downforce. It's still happily controllable at 90+ MPH

I do rather like the Capri, so perhaps I will make one some time (it will probably be a MKIII, as they are my favourite)

Anyways, this is a stupendously brilliant vehicle, BeamNG really needs crazy fast cars like this, and you have pulled it off brilliantly. Now I wish I had a G27, as this is practically undriveable with the keyboard (which is a good thing:)). Thanks again for making this, it's easily one of my favourite mods for the game:D

As far as bugs, only the materials were not set right. I played around with the file and here is the result (I think I may have screwed up the seat texture, which I shall now fix :p)

Anyways, I can send you the file if you like (with the seat fixed of course;))

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! Have anyone else had those material issues? They should be set up just right. I had many people test it before release and no problems were reported. Try downloading and installing again?
