If I had to guess, I'd say someone is already making one.

 

It would be nice to be able to change the colour of the interior so it doesn't match with the exterior.

 

I'd also like some drum brakes and transmissions with more than 4 gears

You can do that, just select colorable trim under the paint designs

 

But that changes the bumper color too! Unless I have no idea how to change the color?

 

Oh, I completely misread that, sorry. What you're describing doesn't exist as of yet but I'd hope someone made something like that, better yet, a body with no trim.

 

The new hub caps are call ridged hub caps. I think.
