This is something that I’ve noticed in the past few weeks, and I was wondering if something was changed in the “publicity” of the group. It used to be that none of the roleplay threads would show up in the “Recent Posts” or “What’s New?” sections, but now they do. I was wondering what the deal was with this, as I imagine the general population of the forum doesn’t want to see these threads.
AFAIK it shows only the groups that you have joined. If another guy is not on this group then they can't see the posts, since we're an private group.
Oh. I will find it and try to fix it, for sure. But honestly, did anyone actually care about what shit are we doing, anyway?
tell your friend to go to groups, and then search for beamng roleplay group, the one with the caption, a group of people
I think the selling cars thread should be "connected" to the roleplaying thread. For example, if you're selling a car personally, you need to sell it on a property that you own, because you can't just go around everywhere and make cars seemingly appear out of nowhere on random properties. Also, mention on the roleplaying thread that you own the car. If you work at a dealership, you can sell cars in stock, but again, not have cars magically appear around the map. Just a suggestion, but it would be a little more realistic if we could have this.
Im currantly doing it that i work at a dealer, where people can trade in cars, (mostly happens off forum) and then i sell them. Its not perfect, but i always saw the 2 as connected, and i personally dont like seeing cars offered at $300000 or something, same goes for real cars, but what can you do. I do like it when a sold car has some kind of impact on the rp thread
So I saw someone suggest this in the Roleplaying section, but we should have a thread for house ownership. Unless that is what the roleplay specs thread is for?
That will be me... Anyways yea... we need house ownership if people are new and mistaken chose that someone owns... the person has to give it up.
i came up with this idea (along with many other people), @TheMultiTuber™ kinda made it popular with a thread based on that idea (was a coincidence, he had the same idea) "your roleplay specs" doesn't sound very specific, so we can maybe post our location
