Make a simple research : impala 1977 and impala 1985 in google image. The differences are obvious.
Same for the Caprice and if you're curious, Delta 88 and Regency.
Cars share the same platform from 1977 to 1985 but no common metal sheet between a 1977 and a 1980.
For the wheel pack in the same time as the Olds update which is when it's ready.

Impala Wagon was just added, with the simple seats of the Custom Cruiser (rear bench is different from the Sedan, more vertical). This car will replace the base Caprice Wagon, there is no need to have two different base wagon. I will do the same for the Impala Sedan.

That's pretty much it right there. Complete change of sheetmetal and interiors in 1980 so this one is a 1980-85.
    Base engine is the 4.3 Vortec V6 (basically a 305 w/ 2 cylinders cut off), optional 350 and 350DX.
The Impala did not get the periodic updates the Caprice got, so very little change over those 5 years.

Cool, good to know :) Thank you :)
    --- Post updated ---
I just had to redo the complete Uvmap of the body painted parts from the Impala nosecone because it was offset comparing to the Caprice one even if it was overlapping the same area.
I finally noticed glitches on the Firechief Wagon, and i knew i had to redo it :p So after a bit of work it's working fine now, to make every Caprice and Impala skins fully compatible.
I just have to mirror the mesh again and finalize the second uvmap with the other side.

the regency limo does not have a feul tank.
Also, have you thought about making a caprice, impala and custom cruiser crash test versions?

Screenshots of the Regency limo, car and part selector please ?

For the Impala and Caprice coupe, the answer is no, i don't have time to do such a new variant now.

The Caprice crashtest could be possible as skin are editable, but those skins are by Synsol and i'm not sure he would have time to do that.
But could be definitly a nice addition.

Ah okay, you mean the fuel tank filler place. It's the same on all those 1980 oldsmobile fullsize (not only the Regency Limo BTW) :

It's located behind the rear license plate which is rotating to allow the gas filling :

So i asked screenshots of the car because i thought the Limo fuel tank mesh was missing on your version.

It's the same thing for the Caprice as well. Only the Wagon has a side gas filler trap.

Oh interesting so it was not uncommon on 70-80s cars that the fuel tank filler place is in the midle of the back :D
I only thought that the 1980 Pontiac fiere bird has it around this spot (its under the number plate on the pontiac )

I wish that was still a feature. With that layout, it doesn't matter which side of the pumps you are.

1977-1979 were the first of the downsized full size GMs. The body sheet metal changed in 1980. The front grill used in the mod is specifically 1981-1985 Impala. 1980 Impala's had a one year only grill which was more of a checkerboard pattern. See photos below.

Thank you for the reference. It seems also that those 1980 grills were full chrome when the next ones were more greyish right ? I just modified the grills i have from chrome to grey following Sierra-3 advices about it :)
Those 1980 grills would be easy to add, but issue is the gauges are different on 1980 models, at least on the Caprice, i dunno on the Impala.

You should increase fps in this car by deleting specific things what slow the game in this car.
